What did I lie about? I actually came here to talk more about what you said earlier. I don't even know what you are mad at or what you think I lied about. But you brought up a good point. Why don't I ask my bosses for a raise? Because I know this ain't a good job market right now. You know it too.

And I made damn good money. A lot more than my co workers I'm finding out. They work hourly I'm salary plus commission. They work a lot of overtime I leave at 5pm. I'm 7 minutes from home. I've been here over 10 years and get an extra week off now. I've never been anywhere this long. I have no bills, no kids, I'm old, it's hard to find a job at 55 I hear. I've seen former co workers leave and then get fired from where they went. Now they are struggling to start over. Some of them say they get a $120K salary now. That's got to come with a lot of pressure to produce.

My former boss got let go and he only made a little more than me. Why did they let him go not me? You see? I don't want to make so much that when things get tough they start considering letting me go. Yes, I am a COWARD when it comes to this. I should DEMAND a raise. I'm so worth it. What would they do without me? This place would go to shit. But where have we heard this before? I truly believe it, but guess what? Even if it costs them $1 million dollars in sales a year, they'll get over it. They won't realize what they lost. And by that time it's too late.

When I started working here they were selling $50K in aftermarket a month. Within a year I got it to $100K a month, $120K, $200K, $400K, I seem to recall a year I was selling $500K a month. This company should build a statue of me. A former Operations Manager who was in all the meetings said without me, the business might have went OUT of business. I wonder if the German's know that? They seem to be real nice to me when they visit.

And I have a very strong case why they should give me the extra .001%. That would put me over $100K.

What did I tell the bosses/owners? I said "the more we sell the more I make so rather than ask for a raise, I ask that you start hiring more people so we can make more money" They loved that I asked that.
