The missiles and drones were destroyed...but Yemen is becoming a rats nest of ne'er-do-wells. Might need cleaning up.

Iran's proxy soldiers...

If Iran isn't careful the whole middle east is going to unite against them.
The UAE and Saudis have been friendly towards each other for decades...and used to be friendly with Iran...."used to be" being operative word here.
They aren't happy...they don't want to destroy them but it doesn't look like they are going to have much of a choice.

Hope they all blow each other up.
UAE is a fairly friendly nation in the Middle East. They are one of the few who have a peace treaty with Israel over trade deals. They also are one of the 7 largest producers of oil. (Opec+)

They aren't the bad guys here.

Thanks for the info but the rest are a pack of Sharia Law mutants who have been killing each other for thousands of years. Hope they finish the kill off.
The average person in the middle east is a sheeple in every sense of the word. They aren't committed to democracy and free market. Very much bent towards a Caste based society.

So when the Islamic extremists took power...the average person didn't care or have any concern until it was way too late...

Many of the various cultures and nations were only a few years behind the US and Europe with modernization and industrialization...it wasn't until the late 60's that a shift began...and by the late 70's the Islamic extremists had begun to take control. Iran, Iraq, Libia, Egypt, Turkey, Saudis and etc were all fairly modern and wealthy nations...nice places to visit. Modern luxuries could be had in every major city and the places were growing economically.

Then the radicals took over and the place has gone to crap ever since. They fight each other and Israel and the US and even Russia. Constant barbarism and fighting over the dumbest crap.

The US and it's foreign policies are partly to blame for some of this. Europe (especially France) owns more of the blame for allowing this to fester out of control the way it has. (They encouraged it when it suited them)

This is going to eventually have an effect on oil...
Not so far this morning but I do expect prices to rise.

Once Biden gets us bogged down in the Ukraine quagmire and China invades Taiwan, Iran will see its opportunity in the ME. Don’t forget, we were supposed to be pulling out of Iraq by the end of 2021. So what is Joe going to do?
