My state does not require masks

every medical facility I know of requires a mask and I comply without a fuss

but everywhere else is mask free or mask optional

I see less than 25% wearing masks as their own free choice and no one is fighting with each other

but I live in a red state that is far more sensible than california or new york

I still see a lot of goofs driving with their facediapers on......

This has nothing to do with the left.

Confusing the left with Democrats is like thinking Holocaust survivors are Nazis.

While mostly true, the Dems deserve the title for letting the left take control of the party. Real Democrats are not leftists, but the leftist and socialists all vote Democrat now and the national party has decided to lay prostrate before them. and they can't figure out why they are losing the blue-collar working persons vote.
