In recent news, Donald Trump got snookered by Chris Matthews with a hypothetical question about abortion. Chris got Donald to say that women should be punished if abortion was illegal.

For his entire campaign, Donald has seemed impervious to PC, until now. Now all of a sudden people seem to care about their abortion rights as it has negatively effected Donald in the polls. For you see, those who support Trump in large part are not really conservatives. They just want someone to kick start the economy and restore order at the border, so the abortion issue is like salt in their wounds because these same people don't want to be held financially responsible for their reproductive actions. For you see, all they care about is their money, just like Donald. In response, Trump has back peddled and said the question was a "gottcha" moment, which it was, but now refuses to talk about it other than saying he thinks it should be a state right issue.

Then enters Hillary. Hillary comes out and talks about the unborn as an "unborn person" and "unborn child". Big mistake in terms of the psychology of word play. She now is taking flack from both happy go lucky abortionists and those who oppose abortion. She then comes out and says that the "unborn children" have no Constitutional rights, BUT she thinks that there should be restrictions on abortion in the third trimester.

Wait.....wut?

What I find the most hilarious of all is that I know neither candidate gives much of a damn about the abortion issue, and it shows. Their lack of introspective rigor on the issue is shining before us, as both slide down in the polls. Their half/half squeamish stance on abortion is on full display for all to see.

Hillary's husband paraded his usual victims out on the stage when he vetoed the bill that would have outlawed so-called late term or partial birth abortion. The women claimed that a medical condition caused them to opt for partial birth abortion and it saved their lives but there is no medical reason that could possibly justify turning a full term baby in the womb, in what has to be a painful procedure itself, to cause a breach birth. There is no medical reason in the world that justifies stabbing a full term baby in the back of the head and sucking it's brain out with a frankenstein machine. In a civilized society a woman who is having medical problems severe enough in the late term of pregnancy would opt for a cesarian procedure or drugs that would induce delivery and they would try to save the baby. The partial birth abortion procedure is designed specifically to "legally" kill a full term unborn baby. Once society faces that fact it would end the horrific procedure....maybe.

Society does not care. Society is only interested in being able to snuff out a life they bring into the world on a whim cuz they don't want to have to pay for the kid nor take care of it for the rest of their life.

What is puzzling is, society then turns a blind eye to millions of illegals crossing the border that are essentially dependents as well.

Shrug. Society is fucked up. They would rather kill their own flesh and blood and then turn around and take care of total strangers.

democrats have the luxury of playing both sides of the fence. republicans do not.

It is especially dishonest when a politician is "personally opposed" to abortion but supports it anyway. The complicit media never asks the question of WHY they are personally opposed, because this would expose their hypocrisy. If they are opposed to taking an unborn child's life, how can they possibly support others doing so?

It just shows that humans know no bounds to the depths of depravity and that we are all screwed up.

1. yes there was a medical reason for it

2. Since Roe v Wade left late term abortion up to the states, logically a so-called partial birth abortion ban at the federal level should be ruled unconstitutional.

What do you mean he got "snookered" ??? Matthews is a reporter, he asked the Donald a stupid question, that's what reporters do, It's not like Matthews asked him to solve differential equations.

You republicans are all pro death penalty . You lose the moral high ground !

LOL, pro abortion and anti-death penalty or anti-abortion and pro-death penalty, not to mention both parties just LOVE dropping bombs on foreigners, cognitive dissonance is as cognitive dissonance does.

The Democrats and the Republicans should just merge into one political party, they can call it MURDER INCORPORATED.

What does "late" mean? What arbitrary number do we assign it?

It's their job to trip up a candidate and get a good story that people talk about.

It has nothing to do with trying to inform the public about anything. They would just assume Donald get up their and talk about his penis size to get ratings.

Wanting to kill murders loses moral ground to those who wish to snuff out innocent babies?

Sicko.

Go read Roe v Wade.

Once you pass laws that establish the fetus as a person, aka your 'innocent babies',

then the woman becomes a murderer if she has an abortion. There's no logical way around that.

Monday’s Supreme Court decision not only affects Texas. Many GOP-led state legislatures, especially across the South, have passed laws similar to the Texas law that are designed to regulate abortion clinics out of business. These so-called TRAP (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers) laws impose an “undue burden” on women’s ability to get a safe and legal abortion.

Ginsburg made it clear in her concurring opinion on Monday that the high court will never allow these types of laws to stand.

That's insanely irrational. That's like saying "liberals agree that rapists should go to prison so they have no right to expect freedom for themselves". :cuckoo:

Someone receiving the death penalty committed a heinous crime you buffoon. They are receiving a punishment. A baby is both innocent and harmless. It's as completely different in believing a rapist should go to prison while a law abiding citizen deserves freedom.
