So:

(2) With every abortion a human being dies.

My thinking continues with complex contexts of jurisprudence, the erroneous nature of human assessments and judgments and the need to adapt ourselves - whatever opinion someone may have - to this ‘abtracta’ that we call justice. (3) Human societies - however they may be structured - must take care not to remove abortion from criminal law under any circumstances (as France, for example, has done by giving abortion constitutional status). In practice, this would mean that anyone could have an abortion if some kind of ruler wanted to deny their humanity - for whatever reason.

In other words: the opinion of people cannot be made the criterion for who may or may not be killed.

The topic of war is in a lot of threads and is not the topic here. However, you are 0-2 on what you think I believe. I am anti-war, I think my country needs to stay out of conflicts unless it is aiding peace talks. My country spends way too much on defense and probably could cut it in half and be fine. We aren’t the world police, we have no business funding Ukraine, we have no business funding Israel in their conflicts, we need to bring all our troops from around the world home. The thought of the pain and suffering caused by violence and war is beyond tragic. If you want to start a thread about war views fine, but that is off topic in this thread. This thread centers on abortion which I firmly oppose.
