I am shocked that Democrats have so lost any sense of moral code that they voted for a man who fantasizes about killing his opponent - and his children - to be the top law enforcement officer, just because he’s a Democrat.

Not in the least. It really doesn't matter who the Virginia governor is really. The state legislative term is short so they primarily use almost all their time just getting a budget passed and judicial vacancies filled. It is a 60 day term in even numbered years and thirty days in odd number years, followed by a short session 6 weeks later to reconsider anything vetoed or take up anything the Governor requests changed in the budget. Very infrequently they may come back into special session in the fall if something untoward happens or the budget projections look off. Seems to me one time they had to come back into special session to fix a big legal goof up that was created that was going to be a nightmare, but for the life of me, I can't recall what that was now. I just recall it had to be done before the end of the year to avert hammering people.
