A Synopsis of the Israel/Palestine Conflict

The following is a very short synopsis of the history of this conflict. We recommend that you also read the much more detailed account, "The Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict," and the book, "Against Our Better Judgment: The hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel."

For centuries there was no such conflict. In the 19th century the land of Palestine was inhabited by a multicultural population – approximately 86 percent Muslim, 10 percent Christian, and 4 percent Jewish – living in peace.[1]

Zionism

In the late 1800s a group in Europe decided to colonize this land. Known as Zionists, they represented an extremist minority of the Jewish population. Their goal was to create a Jewish homeland, and they considered locations in Africa and the Americas, before settling on Palestine.[2]

At first, this immigration created no problems. However, as more and more Zionists immigrated to Palestine – many with the express wish of taking over the land for a Jewish state – the indigenous population became increasingly alarmed. Eventually, fighting broke out, with escalating waves of violence. Hitler's rise to power, combined with Zionist activities to sabotage efforts to place Jewish refugees in western countries[3], led to increased Jewish immigration to Palestine, and conflict grew.

Finally, in 1947 the United Nations decided to intervene. However, rather than adhering to the principle of “self-determination of peoples,” in which the people themselves create their own state and system of government, the UN chose to revert to the medieval strategy whereby an outside power divides up other people’s land. Under considerable Zionist pressure, the UN recommended giving away 55% of Palestine to a Jewish state – despite the fact that this group represented only about 30% of the total population, and owned under 7% of the land.[4]

If this is true, then it looks like the Palestinian people really got screwed - and still getting screwed.

Sorry, but that is a revised history. Revised by Muslims and Arabs to deny the Jews any rights to sovereignty over any part of their ancient Jewish Homeland.

What you are saying, without realizing it, is that each and every country in the New World rightfully belongs to the Europeans who "discovered" the land and colonized them, becoming the largest number of inhabitants on the lands since 1492.

All the way from the Babylonians, Greeks, Assyrians, Romans, Byzantine, Muslim Arabs, Crusaders, Turkish Ottomans and the British, they are ALL invaders and conquerors of the land of the Jewish Homeland.

As you may notice, Arabs are another group which invaded, conquered and started migrating into the land.

And back then, when the Muslim Arabs invaded, they acknowledged that the land belonged to the Children of Israel, the Jews, and the Caliph even reopened Jerusalem for the Jews.

It does not make it Arab land, Muslim land, or since 1964 - Palestinian Land, simply because Christian and Islamic hatred of Jews says that the Jews should never have sovereignty over their own ancient homeland.

Some Christians and Muslims seem to insist that Jews can only be second citizens anywhere in the world, and not sovereign of their own destiny in their own homeland.

Muslims consider any and all land conquered by Islam, will always be Muslim land. Which is what since 1920 a Jew hating clan, the Al Husseini - Arafat was one of them, started riots against Jews. And the leader went all the way to Iraq in 1941 to start riots against Jews over there. Just because they were Jews.

Please educate yourself. It is very important to know what is actually what, and not continue to spread revised history of that part of the world, revised by Muslims to deny Jews their rights.

"If America Knew" is a Muslim site designed to revise Jewish History and is totally for the land to be for Palestinians, non to Jews.

78% of the Mandate was given to a newly kicked out of Arabia clan, the Hashemites, by the British. The other 22%, the British meant to keep for themselves and never allow the Jews to rebuild their Nation on any part of their ancient Homeland.

By all means, believe anything that site says.

Theres another side to that. Were all those Jews displaced from across North Africa and the ME, Zionists? or were they just Jews picked on because of what was going on in 'palestine'?
It was almost a million displaced, but I'll never see any of you anti semitic Left Wingers even acknowledge that history.

There are Democrats, Republicans and Independent who are anti Israel.

Let us keep the politics out of this.

You should do some research with various sources. It's difficult to find a history that isn't badly biased in one direction or another. The Jews got along with the Arabs in Palestine in the early years due to there being so few Jews that they had to live as second-class citizens. They called it "dhimmitude". As soon as the Jews became numerous enough and strong enough to want equal rights and a home of their own, the killing began. Pogroms were common and occasionally, the Jews lashed out in the same way in rage and for revenge.

Even if one accepts the premise that the Palestinians had the land "stolen" - I DON'T - it would hardly be unusual in history for such a thing to happen when a stronger people move in and take from others. Our entire human history is based on that. These days the fight is really less about who owns the land than it is about Muslims believing that once ANY piece of land is ruled over by Islam it must ALWAYS be ruled by Islam.

Israel has been growing into a prosperous nation for 75 years and on several occasions they've tried to make peace and were always rejected. The most blatant example was during Bill Clinton's time in office. A liberal PM in Israel - Ehud Barak - and Yasser Arafat worked on the agreement for weeks. The final phase was an offer of 94-96 percent of the "West Bank" (Judea and Samaria), and all of Gaza as the homeland/state for Palestinians. The remaining 4-6 percent in the WB was existing Israeli settlements. No other Israeli government had ever offered to give so much.

Those Palestinians who everyone thinks are getting "screwed" walked away from that deal and when Arafat got home he immediately launched another campaign of deadly violence. THAT is when the wall was erected and all the checkpoints came into being. Buses were being blown up regularly, restaurants, bus stops, anywhere the Jews congregated was fair game. The Palestinians obviously mean what their leaders regularly say to their domestic audience - "From the river (Jordan) to the sea, Palestine will be free" That means not a two state solution. It means a single state that is totally Judenrein. They will do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to remove the Jews and since those Jews are just as committed to holding on to land their ancestors settled 3+ thousand years ago, there will always be war until the Palestinians learn that when you demand all or nothing, quite often, you get nothing.

[ Islam is the religion of Peace. Just like Christianity. Let us take a look at just the 19th century peaceful living between those religions and Jews. This is just the 1830s. Look at the rest online. And then look at the timeline from the first century on the other link. You know the truth. Tell the truth. ]

1830s

1830The Persian Jewish population of Tabriz, Iran is attacked by a mob, resulting in most of the Jewish community either being killed or fleeing.[3]

1830The Jews of Shiraz are forced to convert to Islam.

1831The prominent French-Canadian politician Louis-Joseph Papineau sponsored a law which granted full equivalent political rights to Jews in Lower Canada, twenty-seven years before anywhere else in the British Empire.

1832Partly because of the work of Ezekiel Hart, a law was passed that guaranteed Jews the same political rights and freedoms as Christians in Canada.

1833Clemens Brentano published The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ According to the Meditations of Anne Catherine Emmerich. The "Dolorous Passion" is claimed to reveal a "clear antisemitic strain throughout",[4] with Brentano writing that Emmerich believed that "Jews ... strangled Christian children and used their blood for all sorts of suspicious and diabolical practices."[5]

1834The 1834 looting of Safed was a month-long attack on the Jewish population of Safed by local Arab and Druze villagers. It was full of large scale looting, as well as the killing and raping of Jews and the destruction of many homes and synagogues. Before the attacks Jews made up over 50% of the population, but many of them fled to nearby cities which reduced their presence drastically.

1834Jewish heroine and martyr Sol Hachuel is publicly decapitated at 17 years old in Fez, Morocco. She is executed for refusing to convert to Islam.

1835Oppressive constitution for the Jews issued by Czar Nicholas I of Russia.

1838The 1838 Druze attack on Safed was a plunder of the Jewish community of Safed by the local Druze during the Druze revolt.

1839Forty-plus Persian Jews are killed and the entire Jewish community of Mashhad is forced to convert to Islam in the Allahdad.[6] Many of them practised Judaism in secret, which led to the Mashhadi Jews, whom today number in the thousands.

It is not about demographics.

The indigenous people in the New world were more numerous than the invading Europeans. They ended up a minority all over the New world later on due to endless immigration of Europeans and others.

The Jews are the indigenous First Nation of the Land of Israel. They have a right, like the Kurds, and many other indigenous people in the ME who became outnumbered by the endless Arab migrations into those lands.

All of those "assaults" on Gaza were due to Hamas launching rockets into Israel. Each and every time.

Hamas does not want war, does not want conflicts, they should have simply taken Gaza and turned it into a paradise, after all they were FREE of Jews by 2005.

You know very well why Hamas and Islamic Jihad could not turn Gaza into a paradise. Israel is in the hands of Jews, the indigenous people of the land, and they cannot accept it. No extreme Muslim can. NO extreme Christian can either.

Demonize Jews for 1400 in a new founded religion and that is what happens. Jews have no rights. Jews cannot simply want to rebuild their Nation, Islam cannot accept it.

Extreme Muslims will never accept it, and they will continue to kill Jews all over the world, because Jews....according to Islam.....HAVE NO RIGHTS.
