1. If there is any doubt that the destructive policies of the Democrats are not an accident, but a calculation that is useful to the Democrats/Progressives/totalitarians, there is this week’s interview with Democrat Deese:
"High gas prices worth it for 'future of liberal world order,’ White House economics adviser tells CNN
White House economic adviser Brian Deese suggested the pain at the pump was a price Americans had to pay for the "future of the liberal world order," in a CNN interview on Thursday.
Blackwell asked Deese how the White House would respond to Americans worried that they won't be able to survive paying close to or over $5 a gallon, potentially for "years" to come.
2. The current permutation of global domination is on the march once again. A prominent spokesman, Strobe Talbot, current president of the Brookings Institution, and a former deputy secretary of state, he refers to nations as artificial and temporary. Speaking of nations, he quotes Julian Huxley: “ a society united by a common error as to its origin and a common aversion to its neighbors.”
Yet the Leftist acolytes never notice how their critiques apply to their ideas. Global governance is the grossest of errors: a belief that the wishes and needs of all can fit under one rubric…and the aversion to the concept of self-rule.
Lord Acton: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupt absolutely.” Our Founders, in their brilliance, incorporated this idea in the Constitution, with checks and balances, and separation of powers. World government emphasizes the potential power and oppressiveness of a global political authority, and inescapable tyranny. Nations giving up sovereignty abolishes the prime check on the power of other nations.
Why global governance? “Some ideas are so stupid, only an intellectual could believe them.” George Orwell
3. It follows logically that those of us who believe that America is exceptional, in its history, its accomplishments, and its singularity, would revel in same, and desire to perpetuate it...
....but those who despise America, believe that America was founded by racists and slaveholders, that it is an imperialist nation, that 35 million Americans go hungry, that it invades countries for corporate profits, and that it is largely racist and xenophobic, wish to transform it.
These, the Leftists, wish for global governance….the end of our sovereignty.
