The inability to distinguish between civics and politics. See if it resonates here
1.Civics is the stuff we’re all supposed to agree on and in terms of our nation that should begin here: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.’ Thomas Jefferson
2. Where did Jefferson get that idea?
1:26, KJV: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”
There is no way to see the connection with the biblical statement and not recognize that America was founded based on biblical precepts. That means that religion and religious freedom are inseparable from the heritage of America’s people. As is the belief that all of us are equal before the law.
3. The two terms “equal” and “freedom” come from the above and are the “civics” that all Americans are supposed to agree on.
You are not an American if you do not subscribe to those civics ideas.
And that is the problem with Nazi Germany And Bolshevik Russia.
And with the Democrat Party as it is so constituted: its agenda is based on treating people differently based on race, class and gender.
4. No matter how false the ‘education,’ in government school, no matter how they have corrupted your ideas, Democrat voters….I bet you are unable to make an argument against “equal” and “freedom.” Yet a vote for the Democrat Party is a vote against both.
And parroting the dogma that they have programmed into you without being able to explain and defend it, is redolent of Nazi Germany And Bolshevik Russia, not a hallmark of America or Americans.
If one of the two parties does not, any longer, agree that America is America due to basic, unalienable rights, such as religious liberty, equality, and free speech…
…..can that party claim to be American?
