When Poland started WWII, Germany bravely stepped up to the defense of Europe and sent their troops to establish peace. In support of that effort, Russia also sent troops from the other end of the criminal state of Poland. This saved the Germans from having to suffer the casualties and difficulties of taking an entire nation.
Today, the pariah country of Ukraine has made it necessary for our Russian friends to repeat what the Germans did in 1939. It could only be seen as right and even friendly that support for this effort be shown by sending troops from the other end of the Ukraine in order to spare Russia the trouble of entire occupation. Certainly, Moscow would welcome this co-operation on the part of the West.
Peace is, after all, our common goal.

There are a few similarities to Poland and Germany and Ukraine and Russia.

The Danzig region taken from Germany and given to Poland, contained mostly ethnic Germans. The Polish government harassed these Germans, though not killing 14,000 of them. Hitler approached the Polish government on several occasions asking for negotiations on Danzig. The Polish government said fuck off thanks in part to the full backing of the US president, who managed to get Britain and France into a military alliance with Poland. A meaningless military alliance however. Poland’s intransigent position, the US President’s meddling in foreign affairs he knew little about, and the military alliance lead to WWII.

Hopefully saner heads will prevail this time, but I’m skeptical.

Obviously, this was satire. That is why it was posted in a political satire forum. Someone erroneously decided to transfer it to this forum, but it should have been evident to anyone that is was not 'serious'. Guess we have to be really, really careful and explain everything every time.

It was obvious to me that it was satire but often I find the super intelligent and better educated Democrats don’t recognize satire when they see it. Of course they take themselves so seriously they can’t laugh at themselves either.
