“We were all hoping for something to help save our neighbors and our patients and certainly this data is tremendous,” said Dr. Joseph Teel, vice chair of clinical operations for the department of family medicine and community health at Penn Medicine. “It’s a modern miracle in many ways.”

The number of patients hospitalized with Covid-19 dropped to a seven-day average of 66,131 in the week to Oct. 3 from 76,734 in the week to Sept. 26, according to the Centers for Disease Control, while the share of Americans who have received at least one shot of a coronavirus vaccine has risen to 65%, driven partly by government and corporate vaccination mandates.

As opposed to the high percentage of heart attacks and blood clot strokes that vaccinated people make up.

My dad is in his late 80s, he's still alive, because he hasn't caught covid, same with mom.

They'll likely live well in to their 90s if not 100s.... If they do not catch covid. Dad has other ailments, borderline diabetic, high blood pressure without meds....but with his meds, doing okay.

Sure, he is eventually going to die, but catching covid, he would die, before his time. It would be a death sentence, likely 10 years before he would have died otherwise.

Statistics can be manipulated. Does the CDC claim that not one of the estimated 720,000 people who died from Covid complications were vaccinated after we saw a plane load of fully vaccinated democrats escaping from duty in Texas test positive for the disease or when we saw popular figures like Colin Powell and Hank Aaron brag about being vaccinated and then die from the disease? The CDC is in the vaccine business and as such you will never see statistics that indicate that natural immunity is preferable. It's possible that booster shots might lower immunity and make a person more likely to come down with the disease.
