"All told, $145 million went to the Clinton Foundation from those linked to Uranium One and UrAsia, but it went to the charity organization and not the Clinton family."

Fact check: No, the Clintons were not paid millions by Russia

While it is factually true that the Russians and UrAsia gave $145 million dollars to the Clinton Foundation and it is also factually true that Hillary Clinton gave the Russians 20% of our Uranium, this is merely a correlation and as we all know, correlation does not imply causation. We need to look at the situation critically and analyze it more deeply in order to challenge our naive assumption that Hillary Clinton giving 20% of our Uranium to Russia was the underlying cause of their $145 million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation.

The true cause was the overwhelming altruistic concern Russians have for the poor children in impoverished cities several thousands of miles away in foreign countries. When Hillary Clinton showed them the impoverished conditions in poor areas of America, Russians were shocked. While many Russians live in considerably worse conditions than even the poorest of Americans, the plight of poor Americans is actually much worse. It is what we call income inequality. Even middle class America suffers worse income inequality than the poorest of Russian peasants. In fact, the wealthy Russian businessmen were actually helping the poor people in Russia by donating to the Clinton Foundation in America. The owners of Uranium One now have less wealth, and as a result have reduced the income inequality suffered by Russian peasants,.
