A Light Unto The Nations

Yes, I know the story very well, but I’m not sure of your point. Abraham was negotiating with Gd to spare Sodom, but there were not even 10 righteous people to be found.

If I may add a valuable lesson (to me, at least) is to trust in Gd and not to dwell on the past - but focus instead on the future, moving forward. Lot’s wife (whose name is lost to history) teaches us that.
Two testaments......God may have agreed with both.

Your words, not mine. You can run, but you can't hide.
I'm neither running nor hiding. If you want to assert that (your words) "God may have agreed with both" then you have to say he MAY have agreed to any other text. Do you believe that or do you limit your "may" to the gospels and the bible text?

You hid from your own words, pretending they were mine.

Your opinion matters. Just not to me.
All I'm saying is one of us is right and the other one is you.

Would you agree that Gd may NOT agree with both the Old and New Testaments, and only one of them?

Of course.

And there is evidence of this Genesis quotea;
Genesis 12:3, “‘And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse,’”

Through all of the tribulations, the Jews are still here.

Considering what the last two thousand years have offered the Jewish people, it is a miracle that they continue to exist.

Over three hundred years ago King Louis XIV of France asked Blaise Pascal, the great French philosopher of his day, to give him proof of the existence of miracles. Without a moment's hesitation, Pascal answered, "Why, the Jews, your Majesty-the Jews!”

' We don't have to speculate what Pascal meant when he gave this answer, because he took the trouble to spell it out. In his masterwork, Pensees, he explained that the fact that the Jewish people had survived until the seventeenth century-the time period in which he lived-was nothing short of a supernatural phenomenon.' - See more at: The Miracle of Jewish History | History News Network

Wow!! I was at a lecture just yesterday, and the professor gave that VERY same example of proof of miracles - “the Jews, your majesty….the Jews!”

And of course, I agree. With all the attempts to exterminate us, our little band of Jews still remains. G-d, as they say, “has our back.” That is also how I know that Israel, despite the wishes of Iran, hostile Aran countries, and Islamic terrorists, will continue to exist - and thrive.

For 2,000 years, the Jewish people have longed for redemption, praying for the return of divine presence and prophecy. Today, many wonder—how do we truly bring it closer?

Some believe redemption comes through personal commandments, but Rabbi Cherki challenges this view. Redemption isn’t about waiting—it’s about action. The Temple, prophecy, and national revival won’t appear on their own. What concrete steps must we take to bring the redemption? Is prophecy already returning, and how does the Land of Israel play a role in this process?Rabbi Cherki reveals the bold vision of Rabbi Kook—how prophecy is reawakening, how Israel’s revival is unstoppable, and why redemption requires leadership, courage, and a return to national identity.

Turns out, it is literally true!

1.The instruction manual or Western Civilization is the Bible. And it was used, specifically by America’s Founders, as the basis for our Constitution. Due to the influence of Karl Marx’s religion, you probably didn’t find that fact in government school.

2. The Bible offers the tiny nation of Israel as the model for many of our beliefs, and that is the meaning of the title above.

“Light to the nations (Hebrew: אור לגויים‎, romanized: Or la'Goyim; also "light of the nations", "light of all nations", "light for all nations") is a term originated from the prophet Isaiah which is understood by some to express the universal designation of the Israelites as mentors for spiritual and moral guidance for the entire world.” Wikipedia.

3. It is not just or Western folks. I found the universality represented in this article:

"How the Talmud Became a Best-Seller in South Korea

About an hour’s drive north of Seoul, in the Gwangju Mountains, nearly fifty South Korean children pore over a book. The text is an unlikely choice: the Talmud, the fifteen-hundred-year-old book of Jewish laws. The students are not Jewish, nor are their teachers, and they have no interest in converting. Most have never met a Jew before. But, according to the founder of their school, the students enrolled with the goal of receiving a “Jewish education” in addition to a Korean one.

...their teacher, Park Hyunjun, was explaining that Jews pray wearing two small black boxes, known as tefillin, to help them remember God’s word. He used the Hebrew words shel rosh (“on the head”) and shel yad (“on the arm”) to describe where the boxes are worn. Inside these boxes, he said, was parchment that contained verses from one of the holiest Jewish prayers, the Shema, which Jews recite daily. As the room filled with murmurings of the Shema in Korean, the dean of the school leaned over to me and said that the students recited the prayer daily, too, “with the goal of memorizing it.”
The reverend’s thesis is that the Jews have thrived for so many years because of certain educational and cultural practices, and that such benefits can be unlocked for Christians if those practices are taught to their children.

Outside, over bulgogi, Park Hyunjun laid out the goals behind his curriculum. “I would like to make our students to be people of God and to have charity just like Jewish people,”.....

3. And now, from the South Pacific: “Despite what anti-Zionist ideologues might assume, the Jews of Israel are an inspiration for many Māori
Though I am Māori, I have for many years worked in and around Jewish issues—the memory of the Holocaust, advocacy for Zionism, and fighting antisemitism. But it is only in more recent years that I have become increasingly aware of the parallels that exist between my own claim to indigeneity and that of Jews to the land of Israel.” A Light for the Indigenous Nations

The author cites similarities between his Maori people, and the Jewish people, in claiming indigeneity in each of their lands.

The Maori as a sort of ‘Zionists.’
Interesting that you rightfully claim that the Bible is a guidebook and foundational to the founding of America while, also, condemning Karl Marx. You are aware that Karl Marx is a Jew. He happened to be an atheist who denied Christ.

Also interesting is that the majority of modern Jews follow the religion of Judaism which also condemns the Godhood of Jesus Christ. They deny Christ. Nobody who denies Jesus Christ can be considered "the light of the world."

Today's Jews are mainly made up of the Khazarian/Ashkenazim branch of "Jews." The Khazar kingdom converted to Judaism in the 7th and 8th centuries and are not genetically related to the Twelve biblical Tribes of Israel. Modern Jews are made up of folks like:

The late Jeffery Epstein
Mark Zuckerberg
Adam Schiff
Jerry Nadler
Chuck Schumer
George Soros
Debbie Wasserman Schultz
The late Karl Marx
The late Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The Russian Bolsheviks
The Rothschild banking family/cartel
The Rockefeller family
... and the list goes on and on.

By no means would I or could I consider these people "God's chosen" people. They have wreaked havoc on the world and America, in general. They are Christ deniers.

Another antisemite speaks.

No, Karl Marx was never a Jew.

Karl was six when his father converted the family, and never believed he was Jewish, nor did he ever study Judaism. He was, per his writings, anti-Semitic to the core.

That is true. And Jews are not anti Christ. Just not the promised messiah.
