A Dock Worker Strike Could Cost Kamala The White House. Why Won’t Biden Stop It?

Apparently, Ole’ Stumblebum won’t stop the Longshoreman’s strike.

This might be his payback for being stabbed in the back by the democrat / Leninist party.

On Tuesday, about 45,000 dock workers will walk off the job in a massive strike that will shutter dozens of ports along the East and Gulf Coasts, upending the economy just weeks before a tight presidential election.

President Joe Biden could stop the strike, but he says he won’t.
Biden must be angry considering the way they dumped him in the trash.

Eliminating competition in the markets will make everyone equally miserable that's why.
So they should do their jobs year in and year out for no wage I crease? Ummm nope. Want Americans to labor then pay them fairly.

I've done my job day in and day out year after year and not had a 77% pay increase. EVER. Inflation taken into account, I'm making LESS now than I did with no job experience because freight rates are so low, nobody can afford to pay drivers much anymore.

A 50 percent increase would be more than fair. L

'They' can do what most people do. Get a better job.

So nobody needs to do those jobs. Got it
Well, they are jobs that need to be done for sure. I bet say, the shipping companies could hire non-union workers. Also, like it or not, robots and mechanization can replace many of those union workers.

So take the anti labor which is also anti american stance.

How is supporting non-union anti-labor? Don't non-union folks provide the same labor? Unions were originally concerned with worker safety and, for that they were useful. Now all they do is control wages.

So these workers get paid a bunch more. Why would that bother you? Makes no sense. There's no reason they shouldn't get a raise.

Their wages are inflated which wouldn't be a big deal if they were market driven but they are driven by forces not attached to the market. Unions are basically government sanctioned political influence machines.

When the head of the company offers to reduce his own salary by a few million I will ask the workers only get a 50 percent raise. That seems reasonable. Workers need not just work hard for existing wages. That's wrong in all aspects.

LMAO. Not looking good for Heels Up. Boeing strike in Seattle, idling Boeing and all supporting companies--union or not. Longshoreman strike on east coast to TX due Tues. This will effect supply chains, prices, Christmas shopping and the economy in general. These families will suffer the effects of no pay checks as well. Hmmm. LOL.

Then there are guys like Jay Leno who took a haircut in order to pay his staff more. There are all kinds of people you know and you are painting everyone with a broad brush of greed. Unions are, by there very nature, socialist institutions because they strive to control markets through quasi-union government relations, regulations, etc.

Define 'existing wages' please.

All of the Christmas stuff is already in the stores. Easter might be a little late.
