The following are Typical Republican complaints highlighted in red (what other color would be more appropriate than red, eh?), and the complaints are not about any particular poster, or any particular Republican, but they are common enough that I have listed them here, and my rebuttal (given that I'm a traditional Democrat, with a dash of libertarian). Links and substantiation is provided where words are underlined.
Some forty or so years ago, during the Reagan era, I was a moderate Republican. I switched parties because of Republican's lies about Democrats and the right's fundamental misunderstandings on the proper governance of nations.
The point is, if I believed half of what Republicans claim about Democrats, I'd still be a Republican.
Democrats are violating the Constitution
No president has violated the constitution more than Trump, to wit:
Emoluments Clause: Trump made up to $160 million from foreign countries as president
Impeachment charges: Trump was impeached twice by the House of Representatives – first, for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in the Ukraine scandal, and second, for incitement of insurrection in relation to the Capitol riot.
Obstruction of justice: Trump's actions during the Russia investigation, as detailed in the Mueller Report, constituted obstruction of justice. Trump violated the Constitution en mass by defying Congressional subpoenas and ordering his underlings same.
First Amendment: Trump's actions against the press, such as revoking press credentials and calling for changes in libel laws, threatened First Amendment rights.
Separation of powers: Trump's use of executive orders and emergency powers to bypass Congress, such as reallocating funds for his border wall, violated the separation of powers outlined in the Constitution.
Pardons: Trump's corrupt use of the presidential pardon power, particularly for allies and supporters, could be seen as an abuse of that power.
Violating the right to due process: Trump's immigration policies, such as the family separation policy and travel ban, may have violated the due process rights of affected individuals.
Census controversy: Trump's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, which was blocked by the Supreme Court, was seen by some as a potential violation of the Constitution's requirement for an "actual Enumeration" of the population.
Biden and Dems are breaking laws
Trump has broken more laws than any President in history
Biden is trampling on our Constitutional rights
That' rich given that Trump wanted to terminate parts of the constitution:
Biden and Dems need to stop being authoritarian socialists trying to run every single aspect of our lives
That's rich given that Republicans have succeeded in repealing women's privacy and reproductive rights.
Biden should stop with the corrupt 3rd world banana republic two-tiered justice system where they elevate themselves above Constitution, law, and accountability
That's rich given that AG Bill Barr and Trump corrupted and weaponized the DOJ
Democrats need to stop with the never-ending, hate-driven, criminal crusade against Trump
Trump is the most criminal, most corrupt president in history. All attempts to hold him accountable are noble and just.
Democrats need to stop being corrupt, criminal, greedy, power-hungry, self-enriching, CCP-Compromised sell-outs trying to destroy the country
The perfect description of Donald Trump, how nice of you Repubs to list it all in one convenient sentence!
Democrats need to stop targeting, sexualizing children, gender confusing, LGBTQ Indoctrinating our kids and mutilating their genitals
If such are your words, and they are similar to the words used by some, if not by most, on the right, noting that they are weasel words of hate. This destroys your credibility.
No one on the left recommends sex change operations for children 16 and under (and it is not happening, though if you do produce and document such happening, I view it as criminal child abuse), and between the ages 16-18 it is extremely rare. Personally, I'm against puberty blockers and all such operations under the age of consent, I view it as criminal.
My, if such are typical of your words, then I can only surmise your hatred of our gay brethren, and that means you hate animals, too, since same sex preference is also abundant in the wild. The conclusion may seem engaging in hysterics, but it's a response comparable to the charge.
Not-so-humbly tendered,
