A convicted felon / President?

34 of them.
Do your research.
I did, even posted the write up from lawyers that stated nothing was present for the second crime to make anything a felony. So name the felony? Look up Dershowitz response on them? Take your own advice.

Do your own REAL research.
Example: in the course of your (so called) "research" did you come across any other legal opinions?
Are there any other legal opinions out there that run contrary to your position on this....or do you just limit yourself to the echo chamber ones that confirm whatever it is you want to hear?

nope, not one felony. Here, from a national lawyer.

There are two potential objections to this: First, as David French notes in the New York Times, the Department of Justice chose not to charge Trump with violating campaign finance law by arranging Daniels’s payoff, apparently concluding that the case would be difficult to win. Yes, Cohen did plead guilty to a campaign finance violation related to the Daniels payment. But a guilty plea does not have the same weight as a jury verdict, from the standpoint of legal precedent. And in any case, Cohen’s plea did not establish Trump’s guilt in the alleged scheme.
Second, Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor in the Manhattan DA’s office, has observed that it isn’t clear that a violation of federal law can qualify as “unlawful means” under New York state law. Before this trial, the question had simply never been adjudicated.

Now show me a felony charge against Trump!!!
Denying reality in no way changes that reality.
You’re only deluding yourself, dupe.

denying facts is denying facts

Prosecutors cannot simply make up new crimes by jerry-rigging a concoction of existing crimes, some of which are barred by the statute of limitations others of which are beyond the jurisdiction of state prosecutors.

Since Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts earlier this year, I was wondering:

Has America ever had a convicted felon / President?

Maybe some of you history buffs can tell me, because I can't recall one.

Nixon was granted a pardon by Ford, specifically for the watergate incident. Would he have gone to jail, well who knows. he would just need one or two sympathizers on the jury. Still he resigned, and he proclaimed " I'm not a crook. . Then Ford pardons him. What this the plan.?

Clinton and Trump both were impeached . Clinton for lying that he didn't have sex with her. She just gave him a blow job. He might have had a point was it sex? or he just lied about it.

Trump , well we will have to wait and see where this goes. IF harris win, then she is not likely to grant a pardon but who knows. If Trump continues his attacks on Harris and accusing calling for her to be impeached on the immigration issue. Gee, it like he is digging that grave.

Still it is an act of desperation on his part. He pretty much conceding that he can lose.

he was found guilty in a court of law

He did not serve any jail time and just has the conviction on record. Basically it was falsifying records.

Other presidents have faced legal issues

Nixon was close but never really charged
Obvious Nixon was in on the break in or at least tried to conceal his involvement or as a minimum tried to conceal the crime.

I think he resigned and they said it doesn't matter any more as part of a deal that he would step down. They still could have gone after him but I guess they decided that it doesn't matter anymore

There have been some who faced problems but Trump made history as the only one convicted of a felony

I think the optics of finding a president guilty of a crime is not what people in the past want to face. especially if a deal can be made.

I guess in these modern times, let it roll and see where it goes.

He still running for president.
