A convicted felon / President?

I really consider them to be fake convictions.
Once a REAL sentence is imposed then perhaps you will change your mind.
But here's a question, if the convictions are "fake" as you say then why has Trump tried so hard to delay sentencing?
You can't be sentenced for "fake" convictions can you?
Naw....he must think his convictions are pretty fucking REAL.
Real enough that once the election is over he's going to a REAL prison anyway.

Why has Judge Marchand continued the sentencing? After all, Trump is not convicted until Judge Marchand enters the Judgment of Conviction and sentenced. Why won't he do it?

Wrong.
Trump was convicted the moment the jury returned guilty verdicts on all 34 counts.
Think about it. That's why sentencing comes after conviction. A judge cannot sentence an "innocent" person, only a "guilty" one. A conviction is what establishes guilt. Before those guilty verdicts the defendant enjoyed the presumption of innocence. Following the guilty verdicts (of course) that all changed.
As for why Merchan hasn't imposed sentencing yet keep in mind that convicted felon Trump's lawyers have requested sentencing delays twice, both of which Merchan has granted. In allowing convicted felon Trump's every avenue to exhaust all of it's legal options to delay this case on technicalities and special requests, Merchan is ensuring his rulings will be appeal proof later on.

No. One of us has a legal education and the other one does not. The jury returned a VERDICT. There is no CONVICTION until the JUDGE enters a JUDGMENT OF CONVICTION and sentences the defendant.

If you think there is something different please provide some evidence other than your personal opinion.

The “filing” or “entering” of the judgment in the record is usually done by a clerk of the court.
The magic of the “entering” is simply the clerk adding/updating the information in the system.
This should generally happen the same day at the sentencing hearing, but sometimes it may take a day or even a few days.
In most jurisdictions, the conviction date is the date of the official judgment.

Ezoic

In general, it is expected that the official judgment of conviction would be the date of sentencing, when the defendant’s punishment became official.

After dick Cheney endorsement of Kamala the choice is clear
I have no choice but to defend our demockwacy and shared values and vote for Kamala

How do you know that the judgement of conviction was not entered immediately?
Why did you ask why Judge Merchan has not done that yet? What makes you think he hasn't?

I know that judgment was not entered immediately because Trump was not sentenced. How do you know, or did you just opine that judgment was entered immediately? If judgment had been entered you can be sure, certain, that every media in the world would have reported it.

Don't misspell JUDGMENT. It is unbecoming.
