Of course you don't. The children of Japanese soldiers are not personally responsible for their parent's actions, just like you aren't personally held responsible for your ancestor's actions. You aren't even responsible for the laws we still have that have racist aspects. The country, as a whole is responsible for that. The country, as a whole is also responsible to correct the inequalities that were caused by countless years of nationalized racism. It's not practical for direct payments to anybody to repair the damage done in the past, but we can have programs that helps replace some of what was lost. If the US is to remain honorable, we should take responsibility for our actions. ,

That bill passed with near unanimous support. 95 for, 4 against (2 repubs - 2 dems), and 1 not voting (1 dem). It turned out to have unexpected problems. Hard to blame Biden for a bill passed almost unanimously. Biden is certainly responsible for his part in it passing, but no more than the 95 members of the Senate that voted for it.
