Doesn't sound like the vaccines are stopping the virus...

As we see the Los Angeles strains move eastward----more and more of the fully vaccinated will be placed in the hospital. HAND WASH PEOPLE HAND WASH-----it has always been the best way to fight a virus.

"Los Angeles County has seen a rise in “breakthrough” coronavirus cases as of late, but data continue to show those who are vaccinated for COVID-19 enjoy vigorous protection — even from the contagious Delta variant — and are far less likely to be hospitalized should they become infected."

It’s because the vaccine only protects you
The vaccine does not stop any transmission
So you could be vaccinated and have the virus in your nasal lining but it can’t penetrate into your blood stream

Fully-vaccinated people represented only 5% of L.A.’s hospitalized Covid patients in April. By July, that number had risen to 13%. Overall, however, the percentages of vaccinated people who test positive, are hospitalized or die from Covid remain low — all less than 1%. Of the nearly 5.15 million fully-vaccinated county residents as of Tuesday, 27,331 have tested positive. That’s a rate of 0.53%. Only 742 were hospitalized, for a rate of 0.014%. Only 68 have died, which makes for a rate of 0.0013%.

Hospitalization numbers have been steadily rising for more than a month, but Ferrer noted today that between April and mid-August, roughly 25% of the Covid-positive patients in L.A. were actually hospitalized for a reason other than the coronavirus. Their infection was detected only during a routine admission screening.

To be honest, I personally believe that the hand washing thing is way overblown and part of the hygiene theater. This virus is breathed in. One person breathes it out and others breathe it in. Even at that, masks are also overblown as it has been proven that cases rise during mask mandates. Even the CDC has shown that wearing masks is only beneficial to a small degree and that is only compared to unmasked people, which is why cases actually rise during mask mandates. However, you are correct that the vaccinated are spreading this virus to a very large degree. But, I do recommend getting vaccinated because their is a huge correlation regarding that and a greatly reduced number of hospitalizations and deaths.

So are you saying that 70% of the Covid cases are of folks who are not vaccinated, if that is the case when it seem smarter to become vaccinated.

Filtration for Wearer Protection

Studies demonstrate that cloth mask materials can also reduce wearers’ exposure to infectious droplets through filtration, including filtration of fine droplets and particles less than 10 microns. The relative filtration effectiveness of various masks has varied widely across studies, in large part due to variation in experimental design and particle sizes analyzed. Multiple layers of cloth with higher thread counts have demonstrated superior performance compared to single layers of cloth with lower thread counts, in some cases filtering nearly 50% of fine particles less than 1 micron .14,17-29 Some materials (e.g., polypropylene) may enhance filtering effectiveness by generating triboelectric charge (a form of static electricity) that enhances capture of charged particles18,30 while others (e.g., silk) may help repel moist droplets31 and reduce fabric wetting and thus maintain breathability and comfort. In addition to the number of layers and choice of materials, other techniques can improve wearer protection by improving fit and thereby filtration capacity. Examples include but are not limited to mask fitters, knotting-and-tucking the ear loops of medical procedures masks, using a cloth mask placed over a medical procedure mask, and nylon hosiery sleeves.31-35

Human Studies of Masking and SARS-CoV-2 Transmission

Data regarding the “real-world” effectiveness of community masking are limited to observational and epidemiological studies.

  • An investigation of a high-exposure event, in which 2 symptomatically ill hair stylists interacted for an average of 15 minutes with each of 139 clients during an 8-day period, found that none of the 67 clients who subsequently consented to an interview and testing developed infection. The stylists and all clients universally wore masks in the salon as required by local ordinance and company policy at the time.36
  • In a study of 124 Beijing households with > 1 laboratory-confirmed case of SARS-CoV-2 infection, mask use by the index patient and family contacts before the index patient developed symptoms reduced secondary transmission within the households by 79%.37
  • A retrospective case-control study from Thailand documented that, among more than 1,000 persons interviewed as part of contact tracing investigations, those who reported having always worn a mask during high-risk exposures experienced a greater than 70% reduced risk of acquiring infection compared with persons who did not wear masks under these circumstances.38
  • A study of an outbreak aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, an environment notable for congregate living quarters and close working environments, found that use of face coverings on-board was associated with a 70% reduced risk.39
  • Investigations involving infected passengers aboard flights longer than 10 hours strongly suggest that masking prevented in-flight transmissions, as demonstrated by the absence of infection developing in other passengers and crew in the 14 days following exposure.40,41
At least ten studies have confirmed the benefit of universal masking in community level analyses: in a unified hospital system,42 a German city,43 two U.S. states,44, 45 a panel of 15 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.,46, 47 as well as both Canada48 and the U.S. 49-51 nationally. Each analysis demonstrated that, following directives from organizational and political leadership for universal masking, new infections fell significantly. Two of these studies46, 47 and an additional analysis of data from 200 countries that included the U.S.51 also demonstrated reductions in mortality. Another 10-site study showed reductions in hospitalization growth rates following mask mandate implementation 49. A separate series of cross-sectional surveys in the U.S. suggested that a 10% increase in self-reported mask wearing tripled the likelihood of stopping community transmission.53 An economic analysis using U.S. data found that, given these effects, increasing universal masking by 15% could prevent the need for lockdowns and reduce associated losses of up to $1 trillion or about 5% of gross domestic product.47

Until the after effects of the vaccine begin to manifest themselves.
Sterility is likely.

It's like this. You have a certain amount of people.

X amount go out and about. Mask mandates give you the delusion that you are safe going out because you have a mask and most others have masks. So, 2X amount of people go out because of mask mandates giving you that false sense of security.

If you stayed home and didn't go out much, let's say that 1,000 people would test positive.

If twice as many people go out because they feel safe wearing masks, then 1,500 would test positive.

If the same twice as many people go out, none of them wearing masks, then 2,000 would test positive.

So, yes, masks work to a degree. But, since more people are going out with mask mandates because they feel invincible with masks on, more test positive than if these people didn't go out much.

This is the reason why cases rose during mask mandates, because more people were out and masked people spread the virus. Masks don't actually decrease case numbers if you had just stayed home, they actually increase case numbers because more people are out spreading the virus.

Do you have any actual evidence of that that doesn't come from a biased source? Evidence that is fact and not someone's opinion? Are you saying that if you don't want any kids that you would highly recommend to get the vaccine if sterility isn't an issue for them?

Take that another step to vaccine security. People believing their vaccines prevent transmission are out in nightclubs more frequently under a false sense of transmission security and spread virus exponentially.
Then blame is officially put on unvaccinated.

The second potential major long term concern is fertility. There are “serious, scientifically supportable risks” related to “fertility for males and the viability for pregnancy in females,” he explained
And consider ‘experts’ who said vaccines pose no risk to pregnancy before the vaccines had been around long enough for a pregnancy to come full term.

There is a fact that cannot penetrate the rock-hard skulls of you trump Nazis. Like vaccines for influenza, the COVID vaccines are not designed to prevent contraction of the novel coronavirus, and certainly not the Delta variant. The vaccines do, however, minimize the symptoms in the vast majority of vaccinated patients, and by doing so, greatly reduce hospital stays, the long-term effects, and, only a tiny percentage of COVID cases among the vaccinated lead to death.

But, trump Nazis are being encouraged by most Republicans in government to resist all measures to combat the disease recommended by medical and scientific professionals.

So, be reminded. to resist is a duty you trump Nazis owe to your cheeto-in-chief/cult leader.

This is the opinion of ONE person.
One expert. Then there’s the Great Bartington declaration…

What happened to sterilization? Now you're talking about completely different things. Which argument do you want to use?
