Well, it speaks to the nuttiness of having an even number of electoral votes. I looked at the elections in the 1900’s and the 25 elections we had only saw a 3rd party get electoral votes 3 out of 25 times. So essentially it’s a 2 party system. But even if it were not it still makes no sense to have an even number of _______ (fill in the blank) when a decision is to be made. There are 9 justices on the supreme court. The constitution allows the VP to break a 50/50 tie in the Senate. There are 435 representatives. Its dumb.
