Wind power does not increase at night, it dies down. Night do not have the heating and cooling of the surface of the earth that contributes to winds.

Further, Solar works like crap, as does Wind. Requiring far more natural resources in the manufacture resulting in far more pollution.

Wind and solar on a commercial scale are only viable for about 10 years, no more. Resulting in the constant replacement of the turbine and the solar panels.

Right now wind turbine construction is decimating, destroying the rain forest in Ecuador depleting the balsa wood that grows there.

Both wind and solar require square miles of land, hundreds, thousands of square miles. So there is also that destruction.

Solar and Wind are complete failures. The cost is extremely expensive, 10x's the cost of everything else.

Nuclear power plant construction is outpacing both solar and wind power, by such a large margin most every advanced country in the world is going nuclear.
