2025 a major year for solar and wind

LOL It looks much like copper mines in Montana and Utah. But you don't mind those, now, do you. You are exactly the same as the fools that stood beside the roads, hollering, "Get a horse" at the cars passing by. The future is arriving as we post, and it is not fossil fuels.
That lithium mine wasn’t in Montana it is in Chile. I thought you cared about the world but you don’t mind destroying ecosystems in the desert, in other countries, as long as you get your way.
Lithium mines take vital water out of the ground in aquifers in the deserts, so once the water is gone, how do you extract the lithium?

There is no eagerly source out there that doesn’t have consequences and as long as it doesn’t affect you, you are happy.

Lithium extraction in America, except for some small mines in Nevada, will not be done with that method. However, there may never be much mining of lithium here at all. Sodium is much more plentiful, and every nation has plenty. Already it is being used in grid applications, and will soon be in EV's. Gotion's 261 wh/kg is already matching ternary lithium at far lower cost.
