Back in 1993-4, Congress passed a 10 year Draconian Ban on Assault Weapons.

Not only did the law fail to end violence in America, and liberals can not document a single mass shooting that the law prevented, it did not even please the Far Left.

President Clinton's signature wasn't even dry on this abomination and Extremists were actually lobbying for even MORE extreme measures. They didn't even wait to see how this assault ban would work

The House has two (I think) pieces of legislation waiting for Mitch to bring to a vote - he stalls until vacation rolls around then goes on vacation, hence the yelling from the opposition. I suspect he will continue to stall after vacation too. Time will tell.
