The chart shows the prices, in the value of unskilled labor, of a .22 Long Rifle cartridge, in 2022 dollars, from 1911 to 2022.

What's a brick of 500 going for these days? I used to pay 8.99 for 500 back in HS.

I have an old brick of Federal but no price tag on it.

Ever see this stuff? I have a box ea. of .38 and .357 that I got from my gunsmith years ago.

Oh yeah, my dad (retired cop) left behind a couple of boxes of that stuff.....I remember it was banned in some states.

Looks like a brick is going for $39.00 before shipping.

I intend to buy this.

It's probably banned in my State. I got it in the early 80's and it was old then...

😲

I should go through my ammo. These prices, I have a lot of $$$ in calibers I don't even have a gun for...

Here's my version I cobbled together out of parts I found here and there. I used a 16.25" barrel, Tech Sights, and a spare TLR-25. I also made a double mag stock pouch. It's a great little "walking around" .22.

I ended-up liking the stock better than I thought but the drop at the comb makes it better suited to irons than a scope unless you use low rings with a 25mm objective scope.

Note I also ground the mag release down to a nubbin. It's just a lost ten round mag waiting to happen otherwise.

I do like how they now incorporate molded in sling swivel studs on the stock you pictured.
