You gotta hand it to the Republicans, they did it again.

This is one incredible political party.

How they managed once again to stop people from talking about:

Apologies to BP because the Democrats want BP to pay for creating the greatest ecological disaster in American history.

Republicans against helping unemployed Americans.

Republicans calling regular Americans "spoiled and bellyachers". Saying they should "sober up and go get a job".

And what did they use to "switch and bait"?

The old "stand-by" - RACE.

Kudos, they did it again. They're amazing.

Sheesh.

Not at all. Repubs just want Obama to follow through with the statement he made when pay-go legislation was passed and when another unemployment extension was passed:

"Congress can only spend a dollar if it saves a dollar elsewhere." Then, upon passage of a previous jobless benefits extension, Obama had this to say: "It is fully paid for, and therefore is fiscally responsible."

Did Obama believe that when he made the statement? If so, then why the complete about face? If he did not believe it when he stated it, then the only logical conclusion would be that he was lying then.

Because of the Bush/Cheney energy policy, the US pays the oil companies 35 billion a year in subsidies. Democrats wanted to stop the subsidies and EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTED AGAINST IT. The unemployment bill costs 30 billion. It could be paid for but Republicans won't allow it and their base is a bunch of stupid fuck human lemmings who don't even care about he US Middle Class.

You guys defend any shit thing your corporate masters tell you. You don't even know what you're talking about, about 94% of the time. Funny, only 6% of scientists are Republican. Why do they even bother?

Senate Proposal to End $35 Billion in Oil & Gas Tax Breaks | Brendan Demelle

The International Energy Agency (IEA) recently reported that global annual subsidies to fossil fuel industries total about US$557 billion – a number that exceeds previous estimates by 75 percent. According to the IEA, phasing out these subsidies by 2020 could reduce global energy consumption by 850 million tons equivalent of oil – or the combined current consumption of Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Oil industry subsidies for dummies | Cleantech Group

In 2004, the then-Republican Congress passed a manufacturing tax cut that critics said gave unnecessary incentives to the oil industry. Democratic leaders this week said they want this rolled back, and want to capture lost royalties from companies drilling in the gulf coast. They're also considering rolling back the Energy Policy Act of 2005

So you have no actual response to my post, only your Bush/Cheney babble. One more chance; How do you react to the Obama quote:
"Congress can only spend a dollar if it saves a dollar elsewhere." Then, upon passage of a previous jobless benefits extension, Obama had this to say: "It is fully paid for, and therefore is fiscally responsible."

And how about another shot at answering my question:
Did Obama believe that when he made the statement? If so, then why the complete about face? If he did not believe it when he stated it, then the only logical conclusion would be that he was lying then.

The OP was about the extension of unemployment benefits and had nothing to do with Bush/Cheney and Big oil or big corporations. Try to stay focused on the thread and save the rants when responding to an OP on that subject.

The democratic party is built on racism. You are a stupid fuck

Chernobyl is in America? You stupid fuck.

If you want to play that game, then the Gulf of Mexico isn't "In America" either

Do you ever get tired of blaming Republicans for your problems?

Those Gulf Coast beaches sure as shit are.

Obviously it thinks the "Gulf of Mexico" is IN Mexico.

Must be part of the "new" historical" update Texas is putting into their schoolbooks. Once their kids leave the state, won't they be surprised?
