When a single woman is looking for a husband, how important do you think money is to her?

Or, if you ARE a single woman, how important is it to you?

If you are a man, give an example of how a woman indicated to you money was important (did she come out and just say it? Was she dissatisfied with your job? With the things you bought for her etc.?)

It is easier for guys; we are "born to practice the Art of the Husbandman" and, that includes money management.

"Free" chics giving me lousy customer service for free when I don't have any money means they are really capitalists, not socialists.

Nice girls of social morals for free don't mind coming right up to me and asking me for a "good connection" to discuss social matters.

I have no clue what that means. My reading between the lines skills not so good apparently............

I am getting used to it. Some women don't mind lying to me and letting me miss my turn. How do you like my little tests?

My last girlfriend thought I was an ATM machine, I was having a great day at the lake with her nieces and nephew's , her sister comes up to me and told me Virginia wanted my credit card... Didn't cause a ruckus in front of the children, found out she charged $1,300 bucks

Yea we broke up....

did she try to convince you it is not about "gold digging" but about being more of a capitalist than a socialist for free?

Nah, she is a full blooded Cherokee woman, I think culutureism is different from solialism.

But Damn, she was distracting me...

sometimes, it may be better to try to make a "good connection" and start a venture that is fun and lowers your costs or maybe even earns you money.

It's very important to my husband that I make money.
He is mad because I don't make more, but, I'm an under-achiever and slacker and he knew that when he married me... so, his bad.

I have been hearing that complaint a lot from women/old friends

He is suppose to be the bread winner...

Us guys were born with the attitude what hers is hers, What mine is hers, but don't be sneaky about it.

Us guys don't want money, we want you girls to be happy, do what you love to do.

We will take the stress.

I am dating a guy who makes a good amount less than me. I have a very good career.

How much he makes is not an issue to me...as long as he makes enough to pay his own bills. I will handle mine.

If we ever get to a point where we live together and ours bills are one...then as long as WE can pay the bills and have some extra...that's fine by me.

He is a very sweet man. Tells me every day how beautiful/smart I am and how lucky he is to have met me. He is very supportive in all I do. He is great with his kids and mine.

To me, that is much more important than what he makes.
