Living close to the land, I am very aware of the changing of the seasons. Until a few years ago, I figured myself more of a hunter-gatherer until I acquired livestock. I became a herdsman and as such, an agrarian. I doubt I will progress to growing food crops because I have brown thumbs, but I have "evolved". I still hunt and fish, but even raising animals is marked by the turning of the seasons.

This Michigan. We're supposed to have snow! Thirty-one inches in November alone last year, but only an inch or so this year, weeks ago, with very unseasonably mild weather since, in the 60s yesterday. My snowblower, Sr. Toro, thinks he's died and gone to heaven.

An anomaly sure to be blamed on global warming by the lefty kooks.
