Nope, this one will be about F-18 pilots dropping bombs.

This is what happens in war.

If you don't like it, end the war now.

If some civilians got caught in a war torn area, those who wish to resort to propaganda will generally refer to their unfortunate deaths as a "massacre" because that comes with the inaccurate connotation of being somehow intentional.

In fairness, it is also a rhetorical bit of puffery to dismiss such killings as merely "collateral damage." Again, most of us think of "damage" as something that happens to physical objects, not as injuries or deaths inflicted on human beings.

The reality is ugly and tragic. People die in war and sometimes, even though not intended, this means that innocent civilians die in war, too.

Personally, I'm saddened that innocent civilians have been killed in Afghanistan (or anywhere else). But that tragic news is being "shared" for a reason and it is interesting to note what that reason might be.

And, yes, when these kind of things have happened in the past, the liberally biased American main stream media was quick to project the protests of the anti-war activists accusing President Bush (etc) OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMMITTING WAR CRIMES AND ATROCITIES. The clarion call is oddly silenced during a liberal Democrat Administration, lately.
