Why support Republicans?

That have made it their goal to do whatever they can to undermine Obama. And they admit it. Mitch McConnel said so, "the number one goal is to make sure Obama is a one term president". The Republicans took ACA to supreme court and lost. They won't take no for an answer. Now they're conspiring to kill it and also on state levels by having bills in congress to overturn it in the House even though they know it has no chance of passing in Senate. They would destroy the country to get their way. They exhibited this intention during the debt crisis. Similar to Newt Gangrene during Clinton presidency.

Republicans act like little children who, if they don't get their way, will throw tantrums or take the baseball out of the game and go home. So, the question is, specifically, what has a republican ever done to make your life better?

Oh, by the way. How is the stock market doing now, compared to when Bush left? You think it would be doing so well if Obama were a socialist, which he's not?

Honestly, I'd like to hear an answer on this too. One that is more than just "Anyone but Obama". I'd love to hear some specifics.

Because right now, it seems Republicans have no desire to convince anyone to vote Republican.

If you believe is less Government,Capitalism and freedom, you vote for Repubs.
If you believe in big huge government, anti capitalism and no freedom you vote for Dems.

Cowardly response.

And if you want to get those answers, start a new thread. This one is about one the GOP brings to the table.

obama supporters are some of the most ill-informed people that I know of.

You would think the OP of this thread was one of the people being asked these questions.

"I think I'm not as informed as I thought I was."

Well, at least there was one well informed, honest and reasonable response!

Which would you rather have in the White House, a successful capitalist who knows the system or a former community activist neo-socialist who hired a treasury secretary who wasn't smart enough to fill out a tax return and cheated on his taxes? Count on radicals to opt for the stoner.

You're talking about candidates and this is a thread about the party.

What has the Republican PARTY done or is proposing to do that would benefit us and make me vote for them?

They're giving us Mitt Romney, assbrain. That's enough for me.

President Romney.

Has a nice ring to it, eh?

Oh. Ok. So I should vote Republican at the state and local level because ... of Romney?

And the GOP has benefited the country over the past however many years because ... of Romney?

You should think first and post second.

If you vote Dem then you have debt up the ass. Just take a look at all the States and big cities run by em. How many are buried up to their eyeballs in debt??

Once they roll up the debt the voters elect a Rep to clean up the mess.

Indiana, Wisc and how many other States have elected Reps to dig them out of the hole a Dem has dug for em??

A good reason to vote Rep.

Obama's spent much of his time stalling on hot-button issues (Bush tax cuts, debt ceiling crisis), waiting until the 11th hour to start negotiating, and then claiming Republicans are simply incapable of compromise when they don't cave in to his ideas given the "severity" of the situation. Regarding the ACA: "now they're trying to kill it"? Dude, just because it's Obama's pet piece of legislation doesn't make it a dog. Give me a break.

biggest spending increases in the last 50 years came when Repub presidents were in office....that's a fact.

The Dems are adding to debt because debt is not an issue right now and slashing people's salaries is. If you decide to not cut someone's pay, then yes, you will see debt at the state and local level. If you decide to slash someone's pay, then you won't see as much.

That's what happened in Wisconsin. They elected a Governor who cut the pay of tens of thousands of workers. That state now has lowered demand for goods and services but less state debt. Big deal. To help this economy, we need more demand and cutting pay is not the way to get there.

You're the second one with no answer. I took time out of a busy morning to ask a question. I've got two nonsense responses.

Project much?

No you didn't. At best, it was a rhetorical question that allowed you to preach your liberal sermon about the "evils" of Republicans. Nice try, but we know a pig in a dress when we see one.

And yet, I asked too and am hoping for an honest answer and so far have gotten only

"We got Romney!"
