Why should we have immigration laws at all anymore?

Since we are not going to enforce these laws like ever shouldn't we work on repealing them.

Not as long as we have dictators who think they can pick and choose which laws to follow. Certain laws, like Obamacare and the new bathroom law, must be followed or people face consequences. Obama even unilaterally changed the Obamacare law in an effort to hide what a disaster it is. Obama ignores immigration laws and entire cities further violate laws by becoming sanctuary cities and yet none of them face consequences. We all pay the price when leaders make/break/change laws based on their whims.

Usually, breaking a federal law is a serious crime, yet this administration and cities, like San Francisco, break federal immigration laws and get praised for it. Now, they are focused on meeting the demands of the illegal aliens that they encouraged to break the laws.

that's where either we have a country or we don't came from.

obama's plan from the beginning was to do things autonomously and throw any resistance encountered at the courts.

govern by fiat, it's better/easier to ask forgiveness tomorrow than to ask for permission today.

The better question is: why do most conservatives lie so much – this thread being one of many examples.

The next question is: are all USMB conservatives this stupid – are most on the right so moronic that they believe immigration laws ‘aren’t being enforced.’

Last question: are USMB conservatives so incredibly stupid as to believe that anyone would believe their moronic lies.

The law isn't being enforced. Candidates are running on non-enforcement of it. I would wonder what is the point if having this law if the politicians won't enforce it?

Better question is why are they getting away with not only not enforcing it, but making promises to illegal aliens to get elected? You'd think the illegals are voting the way they are courted.

Why do you think it is that the Democrats are so solidly opposed to any attempts at verifying the eligibility of voters, and preventing voter fraud?

Our government is more corrupt than people think. It's all about cheap labor for campaign contributions.

It is about getting the cheap labor for the greedy companies, yet the left is the one promoting illegal immigration. I thought they were for the little guy, but looks like they are more interested in doing favors for those with deep pockets.
