Is not what is considered "Good" or "Evil" situational?

For instance--the commandment "Thou shall not Kill/Murder" (Depend on your translation, ok?) is based on the idea that man should not kill without basis.

If a man kills another man for sport--a sin. You broke the commandment and doomed to hell

If a man kills another man out of self-defense--not a sin. You need not ask for forgiveness.

Of course, the religious would say that the commandment is "Thou shall not kill" and argue that killing and murder are not the same. So I point to another commandment--"Thou shall not false witness"
