Erdogan always had been a friend of Islamism. He never was a wise man and the leaders of other nations who support him - also in the western world - are as less wise. Israel is specially also for Muslíms a very important country. And it exist so many Palestinians because Israel is existing.

No idea why such carricatures of statesmen like Erdogan are meanwhile in leading positions worldwide - also in regions where do live no Muslims. But something seems to be fascinating for the Turks in this absurde hateful person. I do not know what this is. As far as I know it is not tradition because in Turkey and in the Osman Empire hate on Jews never had been a big theme.

no one wants to acknowledge how evil the Muslim religion is, even though most Muslims (or many anyhow) do not adhere to it anymore, at least in the US anyway.

In the Koran it says that if the infidel will not convert to Islam, he should be killed. All Christians are infidels to Muslims, as are the Jews.

No one talks about that... but you know... Few people talk about much of anything of importance anymore.. so it seems. People avoid the truth like the plague because it is not popular.. because people will think "funny" about them.

In the last century, the present Israel was a part of Turkish Empire and Palestinians were privileged people at that time because they are Muslims like Turks. And therefore, today Turks want to protect Palestinians, their former nationals.
