I am not a republican or a democrat.

Here is what I don't understand.

The past administration drove this country into the ground.

I am not a big Obama fan, but shouldn't we at least give the guy a chance?

Why are soo many people here hoping and praying that he fails?

We are all in the same sinking boat.

Shouldn't we all be cheering for him to turn the country around and get us out of this mess ?

You're right. The past administation was poorly led and spent way to much money. This one makes that one look enlightened.

Obama was elected as a change, but instead of spending way too much, he is spending way, way, way to much. He said he'd get us out of Iraq. He is continuing Bush's policies. He said he would be uniter. He is a partisan hack. He said he would have a trasparent administration. What have you seen that he did not put inot the public domain himself?

He is a liar, his associates are criminals, he is incompetent, he has no plan, he has no control over his majorities in the Congress, he is politicaly inept and deliberately deceptive.

What else do you need to see of this imbecile? Bush was no prize, but i feel that he was a devoted patriot with a penchant for spending tax dollars. Obama is a Chicago political machine political partisan hack with no moral compass and no love for his country.

By seeing that Bush was not a great President does not anoint Obama. He came to office with a mandate and an opportunity which he squandered in favor of political pay offs, graft, bribes and favors. We needed an inspired leader and got this. Obama is the puppet of Pelosi and Ried and he will get what he has earned by virtue of his leadership abilities.

For those of you who want to give Obama more time to fix things, you may want to re-think that. The healthcare reform package is still a work-in-progress, but just imagine if that package passed in its original state. In less than 1 year Obama would have succeeded in the takedown of the private insurance industry and socialized medicine. Then next up the cap and trade bill. If that gets passed, yet again Obama will have succeeded in hurting the utility industry and us along the way, because it's no secret the costs would be passed onto the consumer. Geez even Obama stated that. Meanwhile, China, India, etc. said no to pollution reduction initiatives. So the more time Obama has to "straighten things out," the more irreversible damage he will inflict. It's scary at what he is pushing in his first year, let alone what sort of damage will he inflict during the next 3 years. The 2010 House and Senate elections will be critical in how much control Obama continues to have. With the change of the mood in America, it's no wonder the Administration and the Dems are taking a hurry up approach in getting their bills passed. They are aware this is their time to seize the opportunity. It doesn't matter what we the people want.
