•Unemployment is 8.3% and has been above 8% for 42 straight months!
•Underemployed is over 15%
•The price of gas – When Obama took office, a gallon of gas cost you $1.85. Today, it’s up to $3.59 per gallon (July’s rise was 17 cents a gallon).
•GDP has consistently been under 3% which is awful.
•71% of small business owners believe we’re still in a recession.
•You have to work 107 days each year just to pay Federal, State, & Local taxes – That means you don’t earn a penny until April 18th.
•More than 30% of unemployed Americans have been out of work for more than a year – In 2007, that number was 10%.
•Low income America – According to NBC News, virtually half of all Americans are considered to be “low income” or living in poverty.
•Propping up the economy by monetizing our massive debt — In 2008, the Federal Reserve bought “negligible” amounts of our debt, last year the Fed purchased 61% of the government debt issued by the Treasury Dept.
•The price of gold when Obama was inaugurated, $850 an ounce. Today, gold is over $1500.
•Billions Spent on Green Energy is just gone with no results.

It's called diversion. Changing the subject.

Romney's only strong stand on anything in his entire political career is not releasing his taxes.

He must be hiding something pretty big.

John McCain probably told Reid about Romney's taxes.

You know how those old Senators like to gossip.

Very true, why won't Willard show the american people his papers like Obama and his own father have? :eusa_think:

Here I thought it as as simple as he is a Democrat a-hole.

I think the overall official plan from here until the election, is for an Obama surrogate every week or so to pull something out of their ass like this that lasts a week or two, to distract Americans away from Obama's terrible economy.
It's a game of just trying to sit on the ball and running the clock out.

Lets see,

The Senate (ruled by Reid) passes a TAX cut for those making less than $250K. The GOP won't even consider it.

Then Senator Reid comes out and mentions that someone told him that Governor Romney did not pay TAXES for 10 years.

Anyone who denies that this is a strategy on the Democrats part is crazy.

The most craziest part of all is that it is working and will continue to work. I can see why you guys on the right are so upset. It's not all that sophisticated and it's destroying your party's candidate for President without President Obama saying a word.

That's just Harry being Harry he can't help it stupid is in his blood.

Is that what you said when Obama refused to release his birth certificate? Are you pissed that Obama has so many of his records sealed? We don't know much about Obama and when we do find something out, such as the lunatic radicals that mentored him, it's swept under the rug. I am far more worried about who is influencing Obama than how much he paid in taxes.

I know darn well that no matter what is in any wealthy person's tax return, the vultures are at the ready to play class warfare and bitch because people are allowed to keep a lot of their money. That never goes over well with socialists, communists and marxists. If people think government should collect all the money and redistribute it evenly, they will be livid to see how much money Romney has made. And he made it himself, he didn't inherit it.

No one had any issue when the hospital Michelle worked for created a bogus position for her and gave her gigantic raises once Obama was in the senate. And their money was well spent. When Michelle left, the job disappeared because it wasn't a real job, just a way to purchase a few favors from the senator.

Romney has helped created a lot of businesses, something Obama knows NOTHING about. Those businesses mean a lot of jobs. Again, creating jobs is something Obama knows NOTHING about. Expanding government doesn't count because that just increases the burden of an already over-taxed work force.

I don't see that this is destroying Romney. It's simply pointing out the desperate measures that team Obama is reduced to using. They can't run on anything positive that Obama has done and the previous attempts to make Romney's success a negative have failed, so they're going to try again. They would do better if their lies weren't so apparent. They can continue to try to deflect but everyone still knows that not only has Obama been an abysmal failure, he also thinks that people owe their success to government.

Reid makes stupid comments because he is unable to make smart comments. Plus, the desperation is high and he wants to help his boss by diverting attention away from the crappiest job in the nation's history. They have been working on firing up the base with all the class warfare and promises of more free shit. They need to keep reminding people why they should hate successful people, like Romney or Cain, who did well without government assistance. If word gets out that individuals can achieve things easier without nanny government, the careers of liberal politicians would be toast.

No matter how stupid they sound, they must keep fanning the flames of class envy or they lose everything.

He knew the Romney campaign would bite and wakka wakka wakka, instant distraction. Many Romney supporters are mad and saying so on TV, radio and everywhere else.

The one and only sensible answer to the press that Romney ever had to make, when pressed with Reid's accusation was to remind them that the accusation came from Harry Fucking Reid and let it drop.

Instead they play games.

Why Harry Reid keeps attacking Mitt Romney - Manu Raju - POLITICO.com

On top of that, his aides say, Reid genuinely believes his source — an old friend and longtime investor at Romney’s former company Bain Capital — who told the Senate majority leader a couple months back that the GOP nominee didn’t pay taxes for at least a decade.

Reid genuinely believes his source ...

Republicans simply do not believe there is a source ... and what if they are wrong ???

they will all take a dive.
