8 million private sector jobs created since Obama took office. -500,000 under GWB.

Even before the '08 crash, private sector job growth under W peaked at 4 million during his presidency.

Let's not forget just 1.5 million under his daddy.

...or 2.9 million private sector jobs created in the last 12 months, a level never reached when either Bush was president.

So why was private sector job growth worse under the Bushes than it has been under a "Socialist"?

What has Obama done to create this wonderful job growth?
Any specifics?

Well then, that question could be asked of every single president, n'est ce pas?

I guess that's one way to avoid the question.

I am quite sure you never asked that question when Bush was president, in spite of the fact that less jobs were created under his administration.

I am quite sure you never asked that question when Bush was president

You're right, I never asked which Obama policies were responsible for job growth while Bush was president.

If you find any of those great Obama policies, you let me know.
I'm curious.

No, the idea is that if you ask such a silly question, then the same question can also be asked of Bush. Which Bush policies were responsible for job growth?

We sure as Hell know which ones were responsible for the great crash of 2008, which happened on HIS watch.

Another interesting stat...since Obamacare was signed into law in March 2010, 11.5 million private sector jobs

and another...PUBLIC SECTOR employment up 2 million under W, but down 500k under Obama

Sure. After you answer the Obama question, you be sure to ask the same of anyone bragging of Bush's job creation.

We sure as Hell know which ones were responsible for the great crash of 2008

Cool! Can you post a list?

You are still missing the point, because you want to miss the point.

lol, don't hold your breath waiting. they have no idea. :tinfoil:

So we all agree we want more private sector jobs, and fewer government, right? That's what Capitalism is supposed to be about. So why have the last two GOP presidents done such a poor job of delivering that?

GOP is definitely far more effective in Congress when they grow a pair, and start sequestering and shutting down government than Bushes are as Presidents when they spend like crazy and build up the Federal workforce.

The contrast is private sector employment gains is so stark, even if it's unintentional on Obama's part. But if we get another Clinton vs Bush race, I'd certainly prefer to have the job gains we had under 8 years of Clinton than the pathetically small numbers we saw in the 12 years of George Sr. and W.

Job growth sucks. What is anyone smoking? Take away the last 2 months from Bush's presidency and his record was far better. The OP is smoking crack.

You mean it had NOTHING to do with gerrymandered districts, low voter turnout in mid-term elections, and Republican lies that if they got both Houses, gridlock would end?

Who knew?

Moron alert.

Why is Labor participation at record lows? What's the net effect of Obamanomics?

It's like bragging that the crew of the Titanic bailed out records amount of water
