Why aren't conservatives protesting the NFL?
The NFL is a centrally planned, socialist organization with an affirmative action program and a marxist draft format.
It's an organization that gives half of it's revenue to it's workers ON TOP of their salary.
TV revenue is split evenly amongst the teams even tho those with the greatest draw are the ones who are featured on Monday and Sunday night football. In fact, the central planners of the NFL often flex out bad matchups to put better teams on national TV games but the teams who participate aren't compensated for it.
The NFL rewards the worst team in the NFL with the top pick in the NFL draft all in the name of making things fair and giving the lesser teams a better chance at being competitive. It penalizes the best team by giving them the last pick in the draft order.
The NFL limits the total amount of money a team can spend on player salary in the name of fairness.
The NFL has even fixed the value or rookie contracts in their new slotted system for the draft.
Each year more and more rules are added to the game to manipulate how the players play on the field and to "protect" the players, who have made their own decision to put their bodies on the line, from getting "hurt".
The NFL has a rule that makes teams at least interview one black candidate when seeking a head coach.
Etc. Etc. Etc.

I was quite poor. Homeless at one point. No political affilaiation at the time.
Yet over the years, I accumulated wealth by working, starting a company, selling a company, starting another one, splitting it in two and selling them....and now retired at the age of 54.
All of my childhood friends started out poor...we were all poor....we lived just noirth of the Bronx. A day out was stickball in the street.
Yet We all did quite well.
Yet we didnt know any politicians nor did we know any rich people.
Liberals don't hate rich people....we just believe they should not get as many perks and contribute more to society

I live comfortably, have very little debt (only debt that makes sense rate wise)....and my money will outlive me.

Based on my experience, when cities build skyscrapers for businesses, the businesses pay rent/lease money to the cities. The buildings aren't just GIVEN to the business(es).
When cities build sports stadiums, do the cities then receive rent/lease money from team owners? I doubt cities actually build sports stadiums and then just GIVE them to the team owners - do they?
