Why are our priorities as a national - as a people - so completely fucked up?

Fifty seven million of us have been murdered and used as biological scrap in forty two years.
Right now, forty five million of us live below the poverty line. Sixteen million of that number are minors.
Eleven million of us are drug war refugees deprived of any sort of asylum or citizenship.
Two million of us are incarcerated. For reference, the DPRK's rate is estimated to be a little less than ours.
Half a million of us are homeless right now. One in every forty five are children.
Three thousand of us are scheduled for murder by the state. At least 4% are estimated to have been wrongly convicted.

That's just a small sample of our own problems. There are plenty more affecting us here, and even more directly caused by us in nations we should be taking responsibility for, such as Liberia. But what are we actually concerned with? Staying on good terms with the rich, laughing at Kim Jong-uns' silly little kidnapping squads and multigeneration death camps, wondering who's slated to win a bullshit rigged election, and Donald motherfucking Trump. We don't even deserve our freedom honestly. As a nation, we don't. It's possible we haven't for over a century.

Why are we, as a nation, fucked up? ..... Very simple answer: Because stupid dumb ignorant voters continue to elect and to re-elect professional politicians to serve in government. That's the bottom line, simple and complete. Questions?

Because Americans are as dumb as dog shit, and roughly as energetic.

I think we need a politician to come along and promise us.....
Hope and Change.....

That's what we need...

Grumpy old rich white guy, to the rescue.

I keep asking people how $18 Trillion is debt is hard to grasp.
Money. That's what people think is more important than human lives. That's what they're willing to sell their own family for.
I added it to the list.

As you may recall, when governments run our of money they people they bribed tend to riot, which brings more suffering.

Imagine a no bullshit economic collapse from our vast debt. imagine everything you list but now the numbers are near 300 million

Another anti-American post by a (foreigner?) who apparently isn't familiar with the difference between the noun-"nation" and the adverb -"national". He got the "F" word right though.
