In Reality
I served both with the 10th mountain division and the 101st airborne. I was a polar bear with 10th mountain and a rakkasan with the 101st. Please feel free to post videos also.

USMC, 2nd ANGLICO (Air and Naval Gunfire Liaison Company) based at Camp Lejeune, NC. I was a radio telegraph operator and part of a forward air control unit. This was a long, long time ago.

US Air Force for 7 years, served 4 years at Offutt AFB in Nebraska under the 55th Wing which fell under the Air Combat Command, and than I did my last 3 years at Vandenberg AFB in California where I worked for the 30th Mission Support Squadron under Space Command, I also did 2 deployments to the Middle East in my career.

Spent over a year in schools, then 3 and half years with ELMACO #rd FSSG
4 years at Fort Gordon Ga as an Instructor
2 Years with Comm Co 2nd HQs BN 2nd Mar Div Camp Lejeune

Last year and a half with ELMACO 2nd FSSG Camp Lejeune

Though really I was mostly a supervisor, Spent most of my career in charge of different stuff. 2 Stints as Company GySgt as well, spent a Year in Okinawa running Officer and enlisted unaccompanied billeting aboard Camp Courtney. SSgt to Lt Col. Civilian supervisor tried to get me extended on Okinawa he liked me so much )

Ouch! That's gotta hurt...going 20 and never making Chief....
 
Couldn't serve but I made some of the patches(Chevrons ect.) for military uniforms from 1980-1987. Also for many first responders EMT,PD FD Ect.
