What punishment is he getting? He's not in jail. He's not in a courtroom. He doesn't even have a job. He's just been exposed as the creep so many knew but few said so until now. Now it's a pile-on, which is normal.Yes, 38 years later she felt safe. Her children were grown and the reporter said, I'm sure, there are others. Time and other victims is what makes this come out, if that is it does at all and it very often doesn't. They fear being rejected and not believed, by people just like you.38 years later she felt safe? How many marriages? LOL. it never happened. you're proving my position.Look, you will never get this. Women (and men) sometimes eventually feel safe enough to tell what happened to them decades later. If you are talking about the 14-year-old she finally felt safe enough to tell her tale when asked to by the reporter, and not to just a couple of girlfriends which she did at the time and they told her to stop seeing him. All of this is normal, you just don't understand it and you never will so stop trying.well wait, it's still her word against him. what changed? so what someone else said something, if she was afraid, what changes that? you still haven't answered.Time and others coming forward. That's what's nearly killed the Catholic Church. The kids grew up and were now safe enough to tell what happened. That's entirely normal. Time and "Me too".
Kids don't tell right away or many times ever. They are told no one will believe them and just look at that, you don't.
What you say is true, but that doesn't mean that you can punish people for just allegations. Unfortunately, there are people in this world who are not above making things up, spreading lies and rumors, as is clearly evidenced even on here on this board. Politics is a disgusting dirty nasty game.
