The public health insurance option, also known as the public insurance option or the public option, is a proposal to create a government-run health insurance agency that would compete with other private health insurance companies within the United States.

Needing to use of the word "other" there reveals the entirety to simply be big insurance generated propaganda. No "government-run health insurance agency" can logically be described as either "private" or a "health insurance compan[y]," let alone both at once.

The dirty little secret about "Grandfathered" plans was it was another con. Once grandfathered it froze the pool of insureds, as the yearly increases started rolling in on those plans it forced folks off of them. With each increase they had fewer and fewer folks to spread it around to, the increases crushed those plans very quickly.

The overwhelming majority of people with private coverage are in employer-based group plans. New employees could always join an employer's grandfathered group plan, they weren't "frozen" to new enrollees.

Fine admission regarding what you meant, but www.healthcare.gov is, in fact, not plural. It's one site, one phone number, for profit. On average, transferring thousands of U.S. tax dollars per month directly into the private coffers of a few, select insurance behemoths. Corporate welfare on steroids. Glorified robbery. Busy destroying Medicare now too with their Disadvantage crap. Why promote that sort of bribery, deceit, and failure? You would never recommend anyone going to "the marketplace @ www.tires.gov" to shop around for tires. WTF?
