What is your breaking point?

My breaking points are the continuing attempts by the RW to give "big gubmint" more control of my personal life and decisions as defined by neo-con morals.
Can you explain who in the RW is doing this and what exactly they are doing to gain control of your personal life and decisions?
Also, would you agree that the individual mandate in obamacare "All signed into law by the left" would also take control of your personal life and decisions on healthcare?

To claim the left owns that by itself is disengenuous. The Heritage Foundation invented the idea, and only became against it b/c the Left were the ones who were about to implement it (at the time of the HC debate). It's hypocrisy and dishonesty at its finest, the way they flopped on that "just because" it was their political opposition. No principles.

Not one republican name is on that bill, not one republican voted it into law, the left owns it, the democrats own it. That's all there is to it. Remember Obama getting his shit all up in a bundle because he could not get one republican to go along with it? He wanted it to be bipartisan so bad, so he could shift blame, didn't get it, so know he and his party own every bit of it and the beginning of there political suffering happened in 2010, more to come in 2012.

It's not a liberty to drive by a public road without a check-point man. I mean, if that's all I lose then I'm ok to sleep at night.

That's besides the point, it's mission creep, and when will it end? Little by little they become just that much more intrusive, until one day you wake up and are like "What fuck happened", where did my country go". Check this out.
Khrushchev has to be looking up through the smoke and flames and smiling. What he wasn’t able to accomplish as Commander and Chief of a military complex that rivaled the world’s most powerful nation is now being accomplished as he predicted, without firing a shot! As Norman Mattoon Thomas, presidential candidate for the Socialist Party said in 1984, “the American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”
We Will Bury You without Firing a Shot

I don't subscribe to grandiose theories like that, to be honest. I can make some shit up to that has some inklings of truth mixed with un-verifiable propoganda and go "AHA!" and then I'm Alex Jones.

Is la-la land warm this time of year? Dude, do you not see what is going on around you? Look at how this government is treating the people right now? They are bypassing our consent to push through appointments, to ram a mandate down our throats that would effectively give them full control of your everyday life, and that's only two of the things they have done in the last 20 or so years, but you just sit there and say "Welp, it does not effect me none, so I could care less". Believe me, one day real soon it is going to effect you, and you will not like it one bit when it does.

Do I really need to explain? :eusa_wall:

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as abortion.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal conversations between patients and doctors. If a patient doesn't want their doctor to ask about guns in the home they can simply not answer or change doctors.

I don't want the gubmint telling someone they can't get married just because they are gay.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as euthanaisia.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as recreational drug use.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as life and death decision like it did with Terri Schiavo's family.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as whether a woman (or man) chooses to sell their time and bodies for sexual services.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in spying on me and support repeal of the so-called Patriot Act.

Oh....as for the "individual mandate"? NOW all of the sudden it's "socialism" when it was originally a wingnut sponsored idea? :cuckoo:

So you approve of unreasonable search and seizure.

Figures...............

They dont search your car unless they have probable cause. Weed smell, etc.
And lets not forget, we're talking about Public roads, not private ones which is a big distinction which I'm sure misses you.

Have you ever been through a police DWI check point?

certainly taxes for me -- pretty much of a one issue person. Im pretty much raise my taxes, lose my vote - no matter who you are or who the opposition is. thats the reason i didnt vote for daddy bush to get reelected (didnt vote for clinton but didnt vote for bush either). Although the recent attacks on capitalism from gingrich and Perry are pissing me off pretty good.

also -- stereotyping about a woman's hair color or breast size. Judging people based on relion, race, sexual orientation, whatever - is fine (and usually pretty accurate) -- but hair color and breast size? Thats just plain wrong!!!

It's not a theory either, it was said, and it is happening as we speak. No theory about it.

It was a Republican idea, and all of a sudden because there's a D President they're somehow 100% in opposition.

And I disagree. So - yea, lala land has me quite happy and I'll call you when I need to fight about something meaningful.

Most of the industrialized world is freer than we are and gun ownership is rare.

People who can only feel "free" if they own a gun have deep seated insecurities.

Guess what guy, the government will always have more guns, better guns and they will be better with them. And if the government ever feels the need to take you out, it will be to the cheers of your neighbors because you frighten the children.

gun_binky.jpg

The second amendment was placed into the constitution by the founders for that sole purpose, so that the citizens have a means to protect themselves from government. It has nothing to do with insecurities, it has everything to do with liberty. If the second amendment fails, so does the rest of your rights. Do you honestly think that if we did not have the second amendment that this government would not have run rough shod over us years ago? They would have.

The Government has nukes. Your guns are irrelevant to them. They're not going to put us in "camps" and shit dude. It's 2012. The whole world is watching.
They did in the 40's and the Constitution is a damned sight weaker today.

The world doesn't give a rats ass about us, they are pissed off at us, mostly because of our own economic situation that has riffled to there own countries. I used to think the one world order crowd was crazy, but the more I learn about it the more it makes sense in the direction we and many other countries are headed. That and look at how many presidents in the past has mentioned "One world order". Nobody is coming to our rescue, noone.
FDR set precedent in encampments in the 40's after pearl harbor was bombed when he interned the japanese citizens, the fema camps where built for incarceration, not to help people in need after a hurricane. Everything these people have brought to the table in the last 100 years has been designed to transform this country from what it once was into a tyranny. It's all on schedule and there will be an endgame.
To be naive is to be willing to let it happen. Everybody always says it could never happen here, I say it is already happening.

Half the dudes in Government TRULY hate each other

Wrongo. Its all for show. They can work together and pass a bill that is corporate spending just fine. Infringement of rights? No problemo. More war? Ok. Defense spending? they are right on it.

It is all a show for tv. Its keeping us divided and conquered. As soon as the camera's are off or behind closed doors they are buddy buddy.

Patriots like Jesse Ventura (conspiracy theory nuttiness aside) has told us these things when he first left office. You are being scammed.

Yea, in the 40's, and the people mwho did it are dead now, and it was the Japanese during a war vs. the Japanese. Color me shocked, they did something stupid in the 40's.

Absolutely. Had it been presented under Republican control it would have been applauded by the same people as a brilliant private sector solution.

What is your breaking point? Taking your guns? Taxing you more? Taking away your right to assemble? Freedom of speech? government corruption? Personally mine is the freedom to bear arms as it is the last fail safe or line of defense in the event of a rogue government. Thank You for any input.

It isnt government or politics. Though that could anger any man.

The breaking point would be messing with Family.

Drop the partisan hackery. You are the problem with this country. Both sides are extremely guilty of your attack on the 'RW'.

Do I really need to sit here and construct for you a list of democrats infringements?

^ yea, it's all for show until you go outside of your house and, you know, actually get to meet some people in office and talk to them, get to know them, etc.

It's nice to shout out all of these grandiose things when you're living in a bubble. Wouldn't your hero have told you there's a big scheme and have named names by now.....or he in on it t0o? (Ron Paul).

Why's he still alive?

Why's he still got an "R" next to his name?

Am I mad that the TSA searches me before a plane ride?

Regarding this, I have only two requests:

1.) I would like my TSA agent to be an attractive woman.

2.) If you start fondling my tool, please finish the job.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as abortion.

They are not doing that, roe V wade is law, and for someone to speak there opinion that is not getting involved in your life one bit.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal conversations between patients and doctors. If a patient doesn't want their doctor to ask about guns in the home they can simply not answer or change doctors.
I agree 100%, but that was not a RW thing, it was a leftwing thing. Conservatives would never advocate doctors sticking there noses where it does not belong.
Doctors, groups clash over asking patients about firearms - USATODAY.com

I don't want the gubmint telling someone they can't get married just because they are gay.
I agree, but that which is not in the constitution is left to the states and to the people, so individual states under the constitution can regulate marital law any way they choose. Which is why california keeps putting it up for a vote every election cycle, because it is up to the people to decide that, not government.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as euthanaisia.
I really dont have a stand on this one, I could really care less if someone who is suffering wants to off themselves, to me that is a personal choice.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as recreational drug use.
I agree, nothing in the constitution gives the government authority to regulate any type of drug or alcohol, which leaves that choice to the states and the people.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as life and death decision like it did with Terri Schiavo's family.
If obamacare is implementing, expect more of this to come.

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in personal decisions such as whether a woman (or man) chooses to sell their time and bodies for sexual services.
I agree, the only reason they do is because it is an underground black market they cannot get money from "Like drugs".

I don't want the gubmint involving itself in spying on me and support repeal of the so-called Patriot Act.
I agree 100%, but did you know that Joe Biden wrote the patriot act? It's not a RW thing, although it was signed into law by the rino Bush.

Oh....as for the "individual mandate"? NOW all of the sudden it's "socialism" when it was originally a wingnut sponsored idea? :cuckoo:
Idea being the key word, everything comes from ideas. The left signed it into law, not the right.

Having a shitty idea and signing a shitty idea into law are two different things. If one person comes up with an idea, does that mean the whole republican body should support that shitty idea?

All you people who do not feel less free, go open a small business and then get back to me. Ya, you dont feel any less free so long as you conform to the system. Step out of line at all and get back to me.

Let your car tag expire. Forget to send in your property taxes. Try and open a radio station. Try and broadcast television. Spank your kids. etc etc etc.

You are not free. Name one thing you can do that you do not either directly or indirectly ask the government for permission for.

Going to the movies? Nope, government regulates the movies.

Listen to the radio? Nope, FCC controls that.

Looking at a hot chick at work? Nope, government regulated.

Growing your own garden? Nope, thats against the law.

On and on and on. Sheep in line to be slaughtered proclaim there own freedom until the end.
