He personally paid the funeral expenses of four fallen when the government refused to pay the expense.

You forgot to mention the part about "the United States government temporary [sic.] stated that they were not going to give any funding, due to the government shutdown."
I don't know who "we" are, but it was very real to the workers who lost revenue because the GOP was throwing a tantrum.
Now that it's clear that the government wasn't denying those fallen burial rights forever, but just until Cruz and Boehner stopped pouting, you can go back to singing the Trumpster's praises.
