I think the situation in Mexico is going to get much,much worse....can we afford to have a failed state on our border....I mean we have enough problems with them already. Time for some sort of drastic action before the situation there morphs into something we cannot control.

I've asked this question many times. Not only is it so bad that its own people will risk their lives trying to escape it, but its own "leaders" (ha) are proud to help them do so.

Isn't that the core problem here?

The people down there are fucking miserable. And hopeless. The cartels control everything, they should be the target, but the "leaders" (ha) are paid off to protect them.

Anything that would involve the approval of their "leaders" would be completely controlled by the cartels, so that won't happen.

On the other hand, and I must admit I'm not really fond of this idea, I think we're getting to a point where the only thing that will work is if a brave Mexican President declares literal war on the cartels and signs a military agreement with us to go in. When I see a Mexican President address the real problem head on and aggressively, I'll know they're not corrupt themselves.

They also have an excellent National Football Team, they are playing now I'm watching them and hoping they beat Brasil, I hate Brasil because peoples who know nothing about football ALWAYS in the World Cup support Brasil this is because they have read how GREAT the 1970 Brasil team was with Carlos Alberto, Roberto Rivellino, Jairzinho and Pelé. So it's like a jump on the board thing they support Brasil even though they would not be able to tell you ANYTHING about football in general because they do not know ANYTHING about football in general.
