He's right about the 3 year thingy. He's wrong about the "removed" part. Away is what he should have said.
Those rascally Masters are sneaky eh ?
I gotta go count my Pesos.

Only 1/4 of the truth.
There are 3 other sides to this coin...another one is our continued consent.
Afterall, with America's negative savings, 67% of consumer purchases were on credit, and we bought homes literally quadruple over what we could afford.

Suggestions as to how to fix Wall Street ?

anyone ?

Replace the FED with something else, something that is transparent and must reflect American interest over global interest and absolutely must join in the checks and balances system as the government is.
Completely shake down and restaff the SEC, which is either unbelievably inept or as corrupt as Wall Street is.
And finally, break apart some of the "too big to fail" companies, and pass legislation to minimize the size a financial company can be..as well as return banks - to being banks.

-Provide ample funding to SEC. Remove the partisanship in appointments. Enact a rule that no appointee may return to a position in the financial field..until three years have passed.
-Reinstate Glass-Stegall.
-Reinstate "Mark To Market".
-Heavily tax any salary over 5 million in total compensation.
-Put teeth into Sarbanes-Oxley (as in mandatory jail terms).
-Change the tax code on Hedge fund managers. They really aren't assuming any risk.
-Allow shareholders a vote in top appointments at companies and compensation.
-Get rid of Dark Pools.
-All electronic markets should have human market makers. LRP's should be codified.
-Heavily regulate all derivative and option markets.
