True, but considering that in 3/4 of our states she was legal and considering that in Virginia she is old enough to be legally married but not old enough to have sex at 17 I have trouble being freaked out over this considering they are married today.

They got married and had 3 kids. Which shows it's not a sick old man going after a young female. There is real love there. Since there was real love, he really should have waited a little while longer until she was 18 and a legal adult. The love wasn't going to go away if they waited until she was 18. I am the same as every other father in the world, I am self taught and learned on the job.
At 24 my daughter is a pediatric ER nurse who put herself through nursing school with only minimal help from us and is now a successful contributing member of society while most of her high school peers are still partying and living at home...I would say the results could not have been any better.
Oddly enough she accomplished all of this without me telling her she was inferior due to her sex like you taught your daughters. She was able to do all this without a man making her decisions for her like your daughters have been trained to.
