You can disable rep, which means nothing but taking away all the color bars, by going into the user cp and locating the box to click, wherever the hell that may be.

There's also a way to completely remove your rep, either by negging the same person 2 times within 48 hours, or by simply requesting it from a mod.

Like I said, it doesn't actually do anything besides removing that stuff, you can still give and receive rep and it still keeps count of what it is.

Just don't worry about it, it'll even out in the end once people know you better, and you're not a shitty poster.
