If so where did you get that idea from and what's your evidence?

And if not, then where is the outcry against those who are perpetrating that there is one?

Not so much him personally but the Socialists/Progressives sure have. And they are his biggest supporters. So i suppose one could claim he has gone along with the Left's 'War on Christianity.' Therefore it could be perceived that he has been involved with waging this war. But personally,i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

There is no war on christianity but there is a natural resistance to theocratic policy in our government by people who would rather not look to preachers for pat answers to tough secular questions.

Do you honestly think that everything he has done is actually complaint with precedent and Christian values?

And, if not, where is the outcry against those who a perpetrating the lie that Obama actually follows the Constitution?

Keep in mind that, if you press, I can provide an example of Justice Sotomayor expressing the view that the Obama position is completely off base.

I think he's just indifferent.

No, we have another Adversary warring on Christianity

Obama continued and refined the war on Christianity that radical democrats have been engaged in for decades. Why dynamite a 60 year old Korean War Memorial because an agnostic is offended by a 40 ft. Cross? Bush gave the San Diego memorial a reprieve after liberal judges ordered it destroyed but it looks like the radicals haven't quit. Republicans didn't sledge hammer the Ten Commandments off the wall in a Court House. Democrats cite a "separation of church and state" that does not exist in the Constitution. The modern concept was created by a FDR appointed Justice who was a former KKK member and hated Papists. Democrats picked the ball up and now you can't erect a Christmas tree on public property except the White House. A kid could be expelled for wearing a Crucifix to public school and the radical libs threaten to riot if kids get a chance to engage in a "moment of silence" in school. Kids are forced to study Islamic doctrines but a Bible study class after school hours is forbidden.

Honestly, I don't.

And I think Perry was kind of an idiot for suggesting it in a desperate attempt to get fundie votes in New Hampshire after blowing what was a comfortable lead.

I feel bad for Perry, because I think he's a good guy, but he so half-assed this thing that it's almost comical.

Well, that's the irony. Most of the "Secularism" in our legal prudence is that Protestants didn't want a growing Catholic majority to impose Catholicism on them. But now they have to live with the fact that ANY offending image has to be taken off the public square.

Vouchers are blocked by the fact that most states have what are called "Blaine" amendments in their constitutions that keep public funds to going to Catholic schools, but keep them out of all schools.

As an atheist, I get tired of Christians whining about how they are being oppressed when they can't get their way on everything.

No.

And who is claiming he has?

Really...? Claiming ignorance is the tactic....?

Perry didn't "suggest" it.

He outright said it.

Don't lie.

Yes, really.
Every since the invention of DVR I don't watch commercials much, so I didn;t know Gov. Perry made such a stupid claim.

How would you suggest I cry out in protest?

How about I don't vote for Perry in the primaries?
Cool?

I won't go so far to vote for Obama should Perry wind up with the Nom, though.

I think you need to be less whiny about it. This is a big so what...

I don't believe there has been any war on religion from Obama. He does seem to be indiferent and that is not a bad thing. It is Perry who tied to make an issue of religion and I feel that fell flat.
