Saw them at the Klein last week. Amazing band. Amazing musicianship. Amazing beat. Totally psychedelic, totally earthshaking.

Music is slightly better than average for that type of band but the vocals are weak and the harmonies are a little off key in spots. Not what I would call "amazing".

Compare the cover to the original.

It starts out ok but the singer strains like hell on the high notes. The band is tight but the guitar solo lacks and the song loses it's drive half way through the song. The lead vocals become almost unbearable toward the end of the song with all the straining and cracking in his voice.

I'm sorry but there's nothing special about the vocals in that song. The guy doing harmony is better than the one singing lead. It's a good band but I wouldn't call them great, not with those vocals.
