"No vote can turn empty symbolic gestures into a state"

Exactly right.

What's notable is the symbolic gesture of a flag that is recognizable as that of an Islamic terrorist enclave.

This must be a morale booster for ISIS. The UN will endorse all manner of Islamic terrorists who can say a flag represents their "state".
This is the World Hollie, little old you ranting like an empty lunatic will not save Israel's PR problem world-wide...She needs to move back to the 67 lines to be accepted by the Arabs as a legitimate state...Without that kind of solution the Arabs States have nothing to offer their people and wars will rage.

So far the Arabs have outlasted all previous invaders for 1400 years...
Arab recognition of Israel? Shirley, you've been indoctrinated by the prayer leader at your madrassah.

You should read the Hamas Charter. It's an uncompromising look into the gaping maw of Islamo-fascism. Anwar Sadat once thought he could tame the Islamist beast with a courageous act of acceptance of the State of Israel. For that Islamo-indiscretion, he was gunned down by the Muslim Brotherhood. Did you know that Hamas is the bastard stepchild of the Muslim Brotherhood?

Arab states have nothing to offer their people whether Israel exists or not. What you Islamic terrorist huggers fail to realize is that even if Israel ceased to exist tomorrow, it would not change a single thing in the Islamist Middle East. Would the internecine hatreds that divide the Sunni and Shia cease? No. Would women's rights and pluralism suddenly find an awakening? No. Would theocratic totalitarianism suddenly give way to representative rule? Not a chance.

I'm afraid you need to find some better excuses to buttress your insensate Joooooo hatreds. You're only using tired cliche's and slogans.
Stop spewing that everyone Hates Jews, they don't,Jews as most will acknowledge have contributed greatly to mankind,as have Muslims and others.

What folk despise is Zionism and what their Mantra stands for.Get it right......and make the proper statement that "People Hate Zionist Terrorists" not Jews, which moreover you Zionists try to make people think that they are one and the same...WHICH THEY CERTAINLY ARE NOT.

And what is the Zionist mantra, and how about a link to prove it. You know the rules unbiased and non partisan.

A FAILURE TO DO SO WILL SHOW YOU ARE A BIG MOUTHED ISLAMONAZI LIAQR
Well you are half right Pheo...BIG MOUTH YES...ISLAMONAZI ..NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS

So you failed again proving once again that you are a

A BIG MOUTHED ISLAMONAZI LIAR

The " 67 Borders" that were never recognized by the Arabs before? You're right; Israel is never going to go back to it.
Israel has no other choice. It is illegal to hold onto land seized in a war. The world community will never allow Israel to break the law. Israel's only two options are 1) do it voluntarily or 2) be forced to.

Why should there be a " Palestinian state" but not a Jewish one?
Oh, there's going to be a Palestinian state and it's none of the Jewish ones' god-damn business!

For that reason alone, the " two State Solution is DOA" they also want some of " Israel Proper" connecting Gaza to the W. Bank Tell us why they are legally entitled to that la d a d what concessions they have offered to make up for that territory .
They are not legally entitled to that land, but it would be a nice gesture by Israel.

You're the one who visited NYC who got into fights and couldn't get ING with anybody FUCK YOU !!!!!
That was harsh!

Certainly we can communicate on a higher plain than that?

Tell us exactly what proposals the Palestinians have made that Israel has rejected and why they refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish State.
The proposals are end the occupation and end the blockade.

And recognizing Israel as a Jewish State, would be like recognizing Nazi Germany as an Aryan Nation. That ain't gonna happen.

Why do you need to be recognized anyway? You're already there. Israel exists. Done. Move on. Fuck your recognition!
Palestine should be completely walled off. Let them starve. Let Egypt rescue them through their border. Israelis should not be employing Palestinians.

Israel didn't acquire that land via conquest. It was ceded by those who tried to conquer Israel.

That is where they are at now the 1967 ceasefire lines. There never has been any 1967 borders. Time for the UN and the world to stop funding Palestinian terrorism and violence and force them to be civilised.

But not illegal to occupy the land under the terms of the Geneva conventions. Nor to reclaim land stolen by force.

There is a third option that you ignore repeatedly because it is the only valid one. The Palestinians keep their promise of negotiating peace and mutual borders to end the occupation.

There already was a Palestinian state and it was called trans Jordan, but the muslims imposed their religious commands and wanted it all.

And what will the Palestinians give up in exchange, lets say the settlements in the west bank and all of Jerusalem. Then see the corridor shut for ever the first time it is used to attack Israel

No as it shows your mentality

That is a higher state for you

NOPE the BDS movement is illegal in most countries, and universities that bring it in are losing funding

Israel didn't acquire that land via conquest. It was ceded by those who tried to conquer Israel.
Wrong! In '48, they took more land than was given to them in the Mandate as the British vacated the area. They did what a street gang would do in a neighborhood, if there was no cops around.

In '67, they sent tanks into Egypt to start the war, then seized the West Bank, Golan Heights, Gaza and East Jerusalem and it has been a belligerent occupation ever since.

The Six-Day War (Hebrew: מלחמת ששת הימים, Milhemet Sheshet Ha Yamim; Arabic: النكسة, an-Naksah, "The Setback" or حرب ۱۹٦۷, Ḥarb 1967, "War of 1967"), also known as the June War, 1967 Arab–Israeli War, or Third Arab–Israeli War, was fought between June 5 and 10, 1967 by Israel and the neighboring states of Egypt (known at the time as the United Arab Republic), Jordan, and Syria.

Relations between Israel and its neighbours had never fully normalized following the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, and in the period leading up to June 1967 tensions became dangerously heightened. As a result, following the mobilisation of Egyptian forces along the Israeli border in the Sinai Peninsula, Israel launched a series of preemptive airstrikes against Egyptian airfields on June 5. The Egyptians, whose defensive infrastructure was in a poor state, were caught by surprise and virtually the entire Egyptian air force was destroyed with few Israeli losses, giving the Israelis air superiority. Simultaneously, the Israelis launched a ground offensive into the Gaza strip and through the northern and central routes of the Sinai, which again caught the Egyptians by surprise. After some initial resistance, the Egyptian leader, Gamal Abdel Nasser, ordered the evacuation of the Sinai. On June 6 and 7, Israeli forces rushed westward in pursuit of the Egyptians whose retreat was disorganized and chaotic. The Israelis inflicted heavy losses on the retreating Egyptian forces. By June 7 the Israelis had reached the Suez Canal and had taken Sharm el Sheikh in the south of the peninsula. Conquest of the Sinai was completed on June 8 when Israeli forces reached the peninsula's western coast.

It's neither about recognize Israel as a Jewish state, but a recognition of Israel as a state.

Palestine should be completely walled off. Let them starve. Let Egypt rescue them through their border. Israelis should not be employing Palestinians.
How about just let them alone?
When they are left alone they still come to Israel to work there. I say Israelis are stupid for employing Palestinians. When they are left alone they still go to Israel to use the Hospital services. When they are left alone they still try to push Israel into the ocean. They will be left alone after they acknowledge Israels right to exist and not a second sooner.

Israel was attacked and in defending themselves acquired land from those who ceded it to them because they chose to withdraw from it.

in 67 Israel enemies planned to launch an attack, prepped for it. Lined their military forces up in preparation for it. You probably think Israel should've just sat there and done nothing until attacked. You would be a terrible leader for any country. Israel saved herself by attacking defensively first.

The land was unclaimed and the International law of 1923 said that the land was Jewish, it was the arab muslims that tried to take the land and wipe out the Jews. The palestinain muslims had the chance to declare in 1948 and missed the chance because Egypt and Syria poked their noses in. Do you want the Mandate of Palestine actual ruling on this that delineates the borders of the proposed Jewish National Home

PALESTINE

INTRODUCTORY.

POSITION, ETC.

Palestine lies on the western edge of the continent of Asia between Latitude 30º N. and 33º N., Longitude 34º 30’ E. and 35º 30’ E.

On the North it is bounded by the French Mandated Territories of Syria and Lebanon, on the East by Syria and Trans-Jordan, on the South-west by the Egyptian province of Sinai, on the South-east by the Gulf of Aqaba and on the West by the Mediterranean. The frontier with Syria was laid down by the Anglo-French Convention of the 23rd December, 1920, and its delimitation was ratified in 1923. Briefly stated, the boundaries are as follows: -

North. – From Ras en Naqura on the Mediterranean eastwards to a point west of Qadas, thence in a northerly direction to Metulla, thence east to a point west of Banias.

East. – From Banias in a southerly direction east of Lake Hula to Jisr Banat Ya’pub, thence along a line east of the Jordan and the Lake of Tiberias and on to El Hamme station on the Samakh-Deraa railway line, thence along the centre of the river Yarmuq to its confluence with the Jordan, thence along the centres of the Jordan, the Dead Sea and the Wadi Araba to a point on the Gulf of Aqaba two miles west of the town of Aqaba, thence along the shore of the Gulf of Aqaba to Ras Jaba.

South. – From Ras Jaba in a generally north-westerly direction to the junction of the Neki-Aqaba and Gaza-Aqaba Roads, thence to a point west-north-west of Ain Maghara and thence to a point on the Mediterranean coast north-west of Rafa.

West. – The Mediterranean Sea.

This is Israel as granted under the mandate, and no mention of an arab muslim Palestine at all in the document.

In 1967 the Egyptians declared war on Israel when they stopped Israeli vessels from proceeding on the high seas, and the UN declared it to be an act of war. So Israel responded with force and gave the Egyptians a bloody nose, then Jordan and Syria decided to become involved and they also got a bloody nose. To counter any possible repeat attacks Israel occupied the land under the Geneva conventions and offered it back as part of a peace deal. So Egypt had the Sinai and gaza returned, and they refused to accept gaza. Jordan had the west bank returned which they promptly declined and Syria had their land returned apart from the Golan heights.

Those are the true facts that you ignore because of your RABID NAZI JEW HATRED

Not according to the evidence as this shows Egypt had amassed troops ready to invade Israel and called in Operation dawn. The Russians intervened and told Egypt that they could not condone the attacks or help with weapons/munitions without causing a major diplomatic issue. Israel got word of Operation dawn and promptly attacked Egypt. So the Egyptians were caught wrong footed and lost the war they started in the first place

Egypt also deliberately blocked the Straits KNOWING this would provoke a War. Their action was against " International Law" Just more proof it doesn't exist when it comes to their actions
