Tulsi Gabbard Breaks With Democrats During Debate, Brands Trump Impeachment ‘Divisive’

2020 Democratic White House hopeful and U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii broke with 11 other Democrats on the Ohio debate stage Tuesday night, branding President Donald Trump’s impeachment as “divisive.”

“If impeachment is driven by these hyper-partisan interests, it will only further divide an already terribly divided country,” Gabbard said.

The Hawaii congresswoman made clear her belief that an investigation should move forward, but cautioned Democrats not to rush the process as acquittal in the Senate would allow the president to claim vindication, playing into Trump’s message that House Democrats are out to get him.

She said something like...if the House impeaches and the Senate acquits it will have vindicated President Trump.

So she thinks he is guilty of something, but he is going to get away with it.. She’s a typical demonRAT But hides it well to make it seem she is moderate and LESS INSANE than the rest of the clown show!

In all of the highlight excerpts I have seen? I haven't seen a single out-take from Yang, I have only seen this one from her, and nothing else.

They don't want folks seeing shit from the outsiders, and these outsiders know this. So she has to play it cool, for now. It is threading the needle.

It is my belief that she only wants justice, and if justice shows, that Trump did nothing wrong, like the Mueller report showed, AS SHE CAUTIONED, then, I really think there was a hint that it might not even go to the Senate. That was the implied warning I got form it.

Then how will her party look?

I will tell you. She will look like the only sane one. . . . All the rest?

No Democrat Socialist Party candidate will be able to avoid another egg-on-face episode regardless of their unwillingness to join the Hysterical House Dem's lunacy.

Perhaps not for you, but most Americans don't see all of these candidates as extreme TDS socialists yet. Mostly because the establishment won't give them a chance to put their foot in their mouth.

I don't know … the Dem platform so far consists of open borders, gun-confiscation, abortion, socialism, and impeachment-in-lieu-of-election-victories.

Democrats FEAR allowing the full House to vote on impeachment proceedings and go on the record. Instead Pelosi fakes impeachment proceedings by immaculate conception without a vote. Courts waiting anxiously to smack Pelosi down.

There is no Constitutional requirement for a vote on a impeachment inquiry . The Constitution only requires the House vote on impeachment. The founding fathers set up no elaborate system for conducting a inquiry as they left it completely up to the House. The courts have no legal basis to stop this. If a judge tries then they should face impeachment hearings as they are legislating from the bench.

You are afraid of the full House vote, which was held for all previous impeachments.
